With what has been being given to the readers lately is it really any surprise? The series has gone stale, and it's represented in many dead threads across multiple forums. Also, a lot of "fans" (readers) are finally speaking up about how bad part 2 has been. Denji doing Denji things without growing is only going to work for a very select few. Readers want and deserve better than what they have been getting.

I agree, but even hate is non-existant. It's like people stopped bothering to read the manga. I think Chainsawman should have ended on part 1.

Part 1 was far better indeed, the structure was clearly thoroughly though in advance, but I still have hope for part 2 end in some special way. Fujimoto is a good mangaka and his stories are fresh, I still like part 2 over most of the Shonen from the same generation

The pacing got better this past few chapters. It's just that part 2 is lacking moments like Denji vomit kiss, swimming with Reze, Makima villain reveal, Gun devil fight and so on... It's lacking on Denji's character development, funny scenes and proper twists/action. It feels watered down.

I think a big issue many readers are having is how Asa became an afterthought to Yoru. Asa (in my opinion) is the best part of Part 2, and she was sidelined for quite some time there. Chapter 195 was good, but 196 and 197 went right back to lacking again.

Yeah I don't think she actually has feelings, just another manipulation. Asa being the closest to Yoru and yet used by her, Asa needs to have her time now.

The last 20ish chapters, 2 mins after I read the chapter, I completely forget the chapter and that this manga exists, until I get a notification that the next chapter came out. No interest in the current fight at all. Not sure if Fujimoto was bullied by female students when he was in school, but certainly reads like it to me lol

I stopped reading after chapter 140. It seems it was not worth after that lol. Reze x denji was always the best.
