I've disliked Part 2 since the get go lmao. Most people think that it was good until the church arc then started falling off, I never liked it. Parts of it did seem decent but they only last a few chapters at max. Denji going to a brothel after Nayuta's death was the final straw for me. That's when I knew Denji was just a self insert to display this pathetic mangaka's fetish instead of someone who was gonna get genuine development.

After that, I only read because of sunk cost fallacy and then the Aging Devil arc hooked me back in (first half was great) but Fujimoto fumbled the ending yet again and after that, I knew this manga was going nowhere. Weekly releases became worse and worse to read and at one point, I just decided yeah I can't be bothered with this manga weekly anymore. Now I realised I shouldn't be bothered with this manga whatsoever anymore lol.

I have two problems with part 2:
1. The lack of an actual clear direction with the plot.
2. Denji is alone and depressed as fuck. Fujimoto didn't give him people to fill the roles Aki, Power, and Makima used to play. Nayuta is dead, and Asa is boring.

Overall that's a problem of manga industry:
- option 1 - manga is crazy successful, Shuiesha wants to milk it into oblivion, creating bloated arcs and plot
- option 2 - manga is not successful enough, it is cancelled after several bad chapters in a row (based on magazine readers feedback)

But there's always option 3 - mangaka cannot create a good story with a good ending.
