Future Events Chapter 998 will show Kaido and Big Mom together

I wonder if 1000 is even about them. Act 3 may end in the next 2 chapters and 1000 is about the post-Reverie conflict. But you could totally be right.
We have no idea what Kaido's debt to Linlin is (we are sure to get that at least) or their history with Rocks and how that comes into play. What I do hope first is that a either flashback shows all the scabbards performing final attacks or Oden's will/haki awakens in them again to get up one more time and attack both Yonko. I think the scabbards deserve a big final attack each.

I concur with the OP by the way, it's a fair possibility. As I said a few days ago, Big Mom is an emperor, unless Oda still ruins her showings she is reaching Kaido by forcing her way through.
If another flashback happens, everybody including me would get pissed off.
