it was the opposite for me Kata was one of my favorite characters in wci honorable caring about his family, the issue started when he was getting so overrated that other characters were being trashed before they could even show what they were capable of. He had the benefit of getting tremendous amount of screen time in wci which has made his unbearable fans grow even more arrogant. His fs is put on such a pedestal his fans think he is untouchable despite breaking down so quickly once Luffy levelled the playing field while he spent majority of that fight just pummeling Luffy. Looking forward to see the BB to put him out of his misery
I don't really hate any characters, and those that are meant to be detestable like Spandam don't really have fans.
I don't particularly care for Kaido but some of his fans are very entertaining. I will never understand investing so much stock in a mid-story villain like your life depended on it. That next level dedication does make you want to console them when Luffy is inevitably done with him and the show must go on.
