Character Discussion Characters interactions you wish happened

More LawxRobin. They have so much in common with similar interest.

Law and a CP0 interaction, a battle with Lucci would have been awesome.

More of Law and Zoro's budding bromance.

More of Law pestering Sanji about his awful family because he's a Sora Fan (who tf is Sora anyway, is Oda ever going to finish that plot point?) Doubt it.

More of Marco and Luffy talking about Ace.

More of Blackbeard vs Law. Not just the fight (that was off screened!) but a general conversation between the two of them

Akainu and Garp never interacted, even though Garp said he wanted to kill him at marineford. Keep in mind, Garp never actually retired, just accepted a lower position. I think it´s weird because almost every person related to Garp has been an enemy/issue for Akainu. I thought when Garp got kidnapped Akainu might have a reaction, and yeah probably but we still haven´t seen it like more then a year later. Also, I want Zoro to meet Germa and actually defend Sanjis name. Even at the end when they saved his life,Judge fucking hates Sanji, but Luffy couldń´t understand. Judge never even reacted to the SH becoming Yonko. Lastly, imagine Blackbeard meeting Dragon.

Dragon with about fucking anyone not involved in his weak ass fuck wannabe Yonko crew.

But don't worry, it's only been 27 years, Oda still has time:suresure:

Oh, and Mihawk with anyone other than his swordplay fuck buddies Zoro and Shanks.

Is there any actual interaction between Aokiji and Kizaru ?
Sadly, no. But I want a modern interaction. Also, I wonder what Fujitora will think of Kuzans choice. IMO we desperately need a chapter of admirals and Gorosei just talking about the pirate island incident and even stuff like cross guild

Zoro & Yamato -- literally one of the Samurai you look up to is Zoro's Great Uncle and there is barley any interactions between the two ..

Zoro & Robin -- miss that interaction not much between the 2 since the TS

Jinbei & a few SHs (hopefully Elbaph will fix this)

Mihawk & Shanks

Robin & Nami

Jinbei and Boa Hancock and Kuma, with Jinbei learning that both of his colleagues were slaves of the Celestial Dragons, with him talking about it to them and of Fisher Tiger and his other friends who were slaves of the CD as well, perhaps even revealing to them the truth about Fisher Tiger and allowing Hancock to get some measure of peace and realizing the mistake of her misandry and attitude before Luffy.

d proper interactions between the Sweet Commanders Katakuri, Smoothie, Cracker and Snack, what are their relations and how well they work together. Katakuri and Smoothie do appear close despite the very limited interactions they had, with Smoothie noticing that Katakuri was troubled when he foresaw Pudding crying despite Katakuri's usual stoicism and his scarf, indicating that she knows him very well, and I wish they had more moments together.

Katakuri and Pudding's relation could also be digged upon with their similarities, as well as Pudding and Brûlée's relation.

Tbh I would love to see interactions between Dragon and Colby. Naturally would be Garp's first hope for the future meeting his last, and also the kid who Luffy saved meeting the man that saved Luffy. They also both piss Akainu off just intrinsically. But Oda seems to be more willing to minimize Dragon's personality to force the stoic and mysterious shit as of late, so idk lol maybe it wouldn't even be that interesting at this point. It's crazy to think that he had more depth/variety to his personality in his two minor appearances between the end of enies lobby and the beginning of marineford than he does now

Outside of that, maybe Shanks and Zoro, or Law and Kuzan. Might produce some interesting dialogue even though they've never met before

One that I find hilarious is Kaido fighting against Luffy and never mentioning Garp even once.

It was literally the first thing BM did, Kaido was at GV too, Luffy fight using fists basically, but Kaido didn't even think of doing that.

This was seriously sloppy.
I mean, even Luffy's last attack was a giant punch lol.
Why is this weird? It's not like a momentary thing, or a case of 'Oda forgot' with some sort of setup to it. Garp wasn't even in Kaido's 'top 5' and in reality they probably never fought- God Valley was a huge battlefield with multiple factions, anybody could have fought anybody fr. Also, Kaido wanted smoke with Roger as soon as he got there, and considering he's seemingly the least experienced member of Rocks crew he probably wouldn't be Garp's priority either. It would just make more sense if, at God Valley, Garp clashed with BM and that's part of what makes her think of Garp when she hears 'Monkey D. Luffy', and Roger clashed with Kaido there which helped solidify Kaido's reverence for him.

But even putting my speculation aside I don't see a real argument for Kaido having some sort of history with Garp from what we got in the story. And I'm someone that wanted a lot more from Kaido's character too, I'm not saying that Oda didn't drop the ball with his backstory and history as a character outside of this lol.

If Garp was really the second most important person in the anti Rocks faction, well he played a huge role In crushing one of his idols/crew and prevented him from taking over the world, (I am a bit skeptical) he should probably care that he saw his grandson, who is now a pirate, lol.

Also BTW, Buggy and Rayleigh should reunite.

Closest member of the crew to him (Big Mom) supposedly dies in the middle of his fight with Luffy, and all he does is think about it a bit and ramble, and then move on- he doesn't actually confront Kid and Law about it after going down to their floor and seeing them, instead he just asks the whole floor to hand over Momo. With that context, I can't see Kaido caring that Luffy's grandson of a guy that did half the job of helping break up his crew, a crew notorious for being on bad terms with one another, when he barely showed any care for the person closest to him from that crew supposedly dying, especially when had a chance to confront the people who killed her literally moments after the fact and just did not acknowledge it at all

It's weird since Doflamingo fears Kaidou a lot and it's clear they have ties but we don't even see them interact in Doflamingo's flashback or anything
Yeah, especially as they must have had a long trade relationship even before the Smiles stuff.

Big Mom and her crew surely also had criminal underworld and trade relations with the Donquixote Pirates as well.

Well I mean, he was on bad terms with big mom for a couple decades, as opposed to rocks who he (probably?) Cared about. But either way there's a larger context here. Kaido(supposedly) hates the WG and Humans, and Garp is like the face of the WG's military for a while, and one of the most important people at the event that basically ensured (Human/celestial dragon supremacy). But instead he spends the entire arc seething about Oden for reasons that don't even really make sense
