I mean he was leading them. It was his main decision. It's not like he didn't want it. He is leader and captain. He knew what will happen if they fight marines. It was ace's fault as he defied WB's orders of not going after BB in first place.

Not much time was needed even Shanks knew it was just a little too soon for Ace to battle Blackbeard but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to beat him in the future. As i said and Ace had the potential to be and surpass Yonkou lvl, you are crying over rif raf who can die anywhere their lives hardly worth anything, if those trashes sacrificed themselves for Ace that would be peak of their pitiful lives.
