Ging is stronger than Chrollo individually speaking, but that's not worth much, his aura definitely isn't anywhere near the Royal Guards given absolutely no one freaked out when he used his nen in the Pariston chase scene, sure you can say "he held back" but that's besides the point, even when holding back the RGs could freak out extremely experienced hunters with their sheer amount of aura, Ging isn't made of the same mold as them.

And Chrollo has the perfect hatsu to beat people stronger than him as he can adapt to many different situations.

But we know jackshit about Ging's actual ability so it's literally a guesswork when it comes to who would win with prep and especially how good is prep when you know absolutely nothing what your opponent can do?

What are Ging and Chrollo gonna prep for? We don't even know what "prep" means in Ging's case, with Chrollo I guess he could always come up with something that should theoritically fuck up anyone regardless of their abilities but he'd have to be very creative and think of every possible nen application Ging could have for that.

Well nen talking, Razor is a beast, he has such large pools, and when Gon gathered a lot of nen, which pretty much scared many and even this guy with Netero (the one who smokes) was damn shaking... when Gon did that, Razor laughed and said "you are his son after all" implying that Ging also has that high level or even more.

I would like it if he wasn't a specialist. It seems like every one who is even remotely important or powerful is getting shoved into specialist.
I would prefer if the top tiers are spread across the nen affinities. It would be more balanced that way.

Chrollo on the other hand is portrayed as relative to Silva and Zeno during YSC, Double face puts him above them even if they are still in the same tier. Zeno and Silva are easily top 10 strongest nen users and there is high chances that Netero includes Zeno in his top 5.

Headcanon, actually top 5 nen users are weaker than Netero since he researches the ultimate fighter to give him the greatest fight of life, Netero is clearly above any human in HxH and he isn't on par with RGs let alone Meruem in terms of aura.

Meruem rapes any human not named Netero and it's not even a debate.

Nothing suggest he can use abilities from G.I outside the island but okay.

It does not matter how many second rate abilities Chrollo will use at the end of the day he is getting low diffed by Ging.
