Sure, a scuffle between friends in a manga where tons of crewmates have jokingly fought is the same as taking a lead position when facing an enemy. Again, Scopper was literally the first senior pirate of Roger to be shown alongside the First Mate in East Blue, follows a metal hierarchy and when he had some screentime he literally had a fully-centered fighting role. Only a biased individual who either wanks Zoro, hates Sanji or both wouldn't see what Oda is doing there; the guy would have massive hype if not for the Sanji comparison and the dishonesty of people like you.
