Dumbest thread I've ever seen.
Croc had no rhyme or reason to fight Magellan. They probably never even met before he was thrown in Impel Down, either.
Meanwhile Primebeard fondled his ass and probably humiliated him more by asking him to join his crew afterwards.

Magellan is not as strong as prime WB, but has a unique ability that can be fatal with a single touch.
MF Whitebeard was below Magellan though.
At MF we were still clueless.
Now we saw multiple times what real top tier at the top of their game can do.
MF WB was nowhere near that level. He even got outperformed by his commanders with the only exception being his Gura fuelled AP.
The only reason why this fact is not widely accepted yet is that it would break much of the Admiral fans agenda.
But it is becoming increasingly hard to ignore.

Magellan is the perfect warden for Impel Down. Poison abilities in a confined space = deadly outcome (even if Magellan falls). Magellan is far from being the strongest, but there are maybe a half dozen of characters in the series that would be able come unscathed against him inside Impel Down (e.g.: Shanks with his wifi haki).
