I hate how Fujitora, a chad Admiral with powers of fookin GRAVITY, is struggling to even precisely throw the intruders far away from Marie Geois. Oda just humiliates the power of gravity lol he cant execute manga powers properly any more.

To be fair, higher end powers like gravity tend to be restricted across all forms of media because of how OP they are.
If Oda gave certain abilities free rein, the characters using them would be basically unstoppable.

And that Is Just headcanon as It gets, not to mention not on point.
The point Is: they wanted to cut a thing, didn't because of circumstances and then damaged the surroundings.

And if pre TS Luffy evaded Mihawk, Bonney evaded Gandhi and a giant Dragon Zoro, that should speak plenty about why Ryo didn't use his black blade against YC level opponents in Marijoa.

It is better to leave it at the fact that Oda wanted to save the revs to push the direction of the story he wanted to ,than that weak of an excuse. We have seen Aramaki's fighting style . He could create multiple tendrils that wouldn't create that much of a mess& restrict the giant if attacks would create a mess

. We saw him in his giant form,no reason for him to not make this

instead of a pair of hands that would get cut & pierced that easily by morley in a single movement
