Well, that does not change what we have already said thought.

In the manga is black (objectively), so if the anime draw it white is their problem. Anime > manga has always been an absurd concept, now and forever.
In spite of the shading and the use of black in the manga, it's not a black sword in the sense that it is not a haki forged black sword. The anime is still all canon, if it were truly a blacksword then it would be in both the anime and the manga.

In the manga is black, twice, and those scenes were confirmed in volume.
If the anime draws it white, it's their error. Not only now, but for whatever thing they do that contradicts the manga.

And no, the same goes both ways: if the anime released an episode in which a character with a "white" swords in the manga obtains a black blade, so the opposite of this situation, that would still be an error. Much more: the people you are seeing arguing about Ryo not having one because of the anime would be the first to scream the anime is not canon and that said character does not have a black Blade in the manga lol.

And they would be right.

If you have been following this thread you will know this won't be settled with the anime for certain users. They are desperately trying to prolong this cope until colored manga volume comes out :suresure:
Are you going to wait 12 hours for confirmation of something that has already been confirmed?🤡
Just want this long ass thread to finally get a resolution.

And it should get one, in a few short hours.

:toximoji:
I'd like more top tiers to have black blades for the sake of consistency in the story.

Ignoring Marie Geoise, top tiers in the one piece world include Admirals and YC1.
Then there are gifted freaks with the potential to become Yonko or Fleet Admiral.

The fact that none of these people including the world's strongest man, and the pirate king,
couldn't forge a black blade is completely asinine. Let's see if even Xebec can't forge one.

I don't know what Oda's cooking with this baboon breeding farmer living in a circus tent with a clown and Luffy's mom; but it ain't compelling.

Not really Mihawk is just that guy we have been telling you respect him for ages you guys simply don't learn
Maybe Xebec will join Ryuma and Mihawk when we get to Rocks fb but nobody else from the current era is ever reaching that level :pepehawk:

Too much butthurt detected lmao

You are going/were going to admit Ryo's black blade if the anime shows it lol?

This debate was always going to end when we saw his sword clearly in the manga (again).

Anime was just further proof.
