Now, if you give this bullshit a pass, people like you will call it a foreshadowing after 5 years. Just to justify Luffy summoning guns, rockets, and swords (like Jim Carrey from The Mask).
Then again, concealing the body transformation and calling it a rubber ability is still a bait and switch strategy.

No, With red Hawk, Luffy was able to create fire in water.
That's the awakening, its a much insane power. As expected from an awakening.
Is Luffy not a rubber man anymore ? Did he just started using his imagination to transform his body and win his fights ?
No foreshadowing indeed because none needed, it would have ruined the revelation, but like I explained in the thread there were at least 10 shadowings, which are - if you understand what I wrote - essential to make the revelation cohesive and acceptable (to those who actually pay attention to the shadowings of course). Those are the way Luffy fight and the nature (physical and fighting) of the transformations.

I explained the abilities of Zoro at the end of the thread, not sure about Shanks, I don't remember seeing fire on his sword.

I don't need to read your analysis to make sense of the story.
Do I believe nika was foreshadowed? Yes
Do I like G5? To some extent yes
Do I think Oda deliberately hold df reveal to be surprise element? Perhaps
Does it make WG looks like clown? Yes because they had info yet they didn't do shit about it until oda was about to drop luffy awakening
Was execution top notch? Certainly not and I definitely understand why some people are upset about it.
I don't need to blindly wank something and try to superimpose my opinion on others just to call others haters for expressing their dislike. More so when many people who are arguing against this happens to be Luffy fans or like other Gears .
