General & Others Denjiro and Ashura are disappointing

I absolutely agree
although, it's too early to count them out from the rest of the arc, cause I still believe Kinemon and Raizo will take on Kanjuro and Fokurokoju, so who knows what Asura and others role will be... but they surely did not live up to the hype at all... specially Asura and Denjiro and Kawamatsu

I'm dissapointed because i didn't see them do anything not that they lost to Kaido
Izu came back after 500 chapters to get offpaneled? Sulong dukes after all this hype were shown for like 2 seconds
If Oda had spent another 1 or 2 chapter on the fight i would've been cool with it but who knows if Marco can heal them and they join the fight against Hotei or the F6 i would be cool with it

I'm pretty disappointed in Ashura. He burst into the scene with the interesting premise of a jaded warrior who's spirit was broken over the course of 20 years. Oda doesn't do nearly enough with the idea and only hand waves it with Ashura giving exposition on his time then and finally deciding to join. And since then, he's been totally bland. I can't think of one distinct character trait besides "I love Oden."
I'll wait on Denjiro. The fallout on his time with Orochi hasn't settled yet. Sasaki said he'd never forgive him, but Denjiro still spared him and educated on the Kozuki to him, as if to convert him. Then there is Orochi's forces who are indecisive about fighting the Alliance or siding with them. I don't think the Scabbards are totally out of this, and we might get some more moments with them. And since Denjiro still has some loose ends, he has the best opportunity for that.

Both men endured twenty years of pain and became as strong as they can be to be available for the day Oden was avenged.
Asura had the blueprints to Onigashima while Denjiro brought Hiyori into adulthood, infiltrated and repurposed the 1200 yakuza, and then saved the raid itself before quickly subduing one of the enemy's best officers.
