Well the point of the thread is to know if Kid and Killer got stronger from their last confrontation with Kaido,not if Sea stone training and boulder lifting is enough to face an Emperor.

Unless Kid and Killer directly state that or it is shown,people will always say it is not evident enough and brush it off.

And let's not discount the fact that Zoro repulsed Issho's attack by prominently relying on his physical output.

People just undervalue physical strenght, they mostly care about haki. Big big mistake.

You can speculate whether or not they got stronger since their Kaido fight (I think mainly Kidd did but not really Killer), but there is one thing I’m certain about. Kidd and Killer will perform much better than they did before. And that’s all that matters to me.

Kidd, Killer, and Luffy are the only guys on the roof who have fought Kaido before and know what won’t work against him. We see Luffy came up with a way to be effective, so why is it crazy to think Kidd and Killer have some plan to be effective as well? Especially Killer. Do y’all think someone as smart as Killer would allow Kidd to go up there with no plan, but “smack him with more metal”? No, Kidd will have his way to damage the Yonko weather it be with advanced haki or his df power. All I know is that the metal he gathered will play a big role in making him perform better than he did against Kaido before. I’m excited to see the true potential of Kidd’s fruit.

I think it’s also important to note that Luffy didn’t actually get much stronger than he was before Udon. He just can actually damage Kaido internally now because of the haki. Any strength Luffy gained from prison work Kidd gained that x2 since he was there much longer.
