- Imu was cutting Teach's wanted poster, and Imu's right hand Saturn is going to fall soon enough.

- Oda gave the most feared ability in the world (especially in Japan) ''Earthquake'' and also ''Darkness'' to Teach.
- If Luffy's final battle before being a top tier Emperor was Kaido, then beating Teach should make Luffy top of the top tiers.

Kaidou and Shanks are from the same generation according to Ace's novel, the funny thing is that instead of Oda having Blackbeard face Kaidou who is more similar to Whitebeard, with both being called WSM, and stronger pirates, having a strong parallel between their DFS, which is WB greater offensive power and Kaidou greater defense, and having Luffy face Shanks who is more similar to Roger, with both having the same attack name, using swords and having a powerful Haki, Oda simply reverse the path.

After Kaidou's fall, which is a fight that I don't consider a true 1 v 1, and that Luffy didn't completely surpass him in power, but due to the fact that he defeated him regardless of how he did it, the narrative forces this, forces the fact that he "overcame" him.

After Kaidou and following Kaidou's own Ranking, the second best thing in the world after him is Shanks, and the parallel is there between Luffy and Blackbeard, Luffy overthrew Kaidou, Blackbeard possibly overthrows Shanks, the 2 best fall, to the 2 best of the worst generation.

The fact that Shanks and Kaidou fall to Luffy and the other to BB only shows that Shanks and Kaidou > Everyone else, that's basically how I see it.

The parallels of BB and Kaidou's posters make a lot of sense, since BB will essentially be WSM just like Kaidou and WB and Luffy will be his counterpart just like Shanks and Roger.

I think it was an original concept. Crossguild is too good to be a postskip invention,it feel like prime Oda stuff.

I have been wondering about this myself, however, the fact that Luffy wasnt an Emperor initially, Oda must have planned someone else.
So either Kaido or Big Mom should have been in that original plan. I doubt sick Whitebeard, the placeholder for Blackbeard was.
