Questions & Mysteries Did Oda Plan Out ACoC Since Chapter 50?

#21
Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was planned from the start. How refined the idea was is another story. Shanks intimidating the Sea King with his glance was already the first hint. Then came the introduction of Logia through Smoker in chapter 97 and I'm sure Oda at that moment didn't consider Logias to be only beatable by some very specific weaknesses. Did he really think at chapter 97 that the pirate king Gol D. Roger could've beaten Smoker only by coming up with some specific counter to Smoke, or later to fire, sand and lightning? With Zoro cutting through Daz Bones and the Priests and Enel using Mantra, at this point Oda was making use of that concrete idea already.

I doubt Lucky roo would even beat Burgess anything short of extreme diff. I think people are massively overrating the RHP.
Roo vs DF-less Marineford Burgess is extreme diff? I don't think so. And you haven't answer Yassop vs DF-less Augur. That teleportation DF is a massive boost.

Btw, I doubt the last two years made a difference between the RHP's powerlevels, which means whatever powerlevel would they be shown is relatively similar to Marineford.

Well, we'll see soon.

DFless Augur vs Yasopp is a close fight too.

Marineford Burgess and Dressrosa burgess are the same tier. No reason to think they got significantly stronger for no reason.

It is factually false.

CoA was not planned at the beginning of the story which is why Oda retcon a lot of things into Haki. For example, Tekkai is completely obsolete with the introduction of CoA so Oda made the CP9 agent to be Haki users since before the time skip and tekkai became another CoA application.

CoC and Mantra was but Adv CoC certainly not.

The myth of Oda the master planner as been defeat several times by Oda himself.
So you think Oda created Characters like Smoker, who has no natural weaknesses, with no way of being able to fight and defeat them in the future? So why was Smoker a lowly East Blue Marine Captain, if he had an ability that made him unstoppable?

Wrong. Tekkai is based on the users physical powers but CoA is based on the users WILL power, Tekkai is not an application of CoA.

Oda clearly distinguishes the two and because your reading comprehension is obviously terrible, you missed it.

Adv CoC had to have been planned as there was clearly something missing as most Yonko commanders are masters of Haki but yet clearly weaker than Yonko’s so yes Adv CoC had to have been planned.

So, everything you said is just wrong.

Haki is something, ACoC and its application is another
One Piece had been running for about 24 years prior to the reveal of AdCoC.

It's absolutely nonsensical to believe that the man had not once.... In 24 years... Sat down and thought about where he wants to go with one of his core power systems.

Things like where the story will go can be changed on the fly. Creating a power system that will be with the story for it's entirety, is completely different.

The story was set to finish in 5 years, that’s all you need to know

I think Oda created Smoker with the idea that Smoker will always be an issue for Luffy because Luffy as no mean to beat. Like a constant chase.
Which is why Smoker has a logia and a Kairouseki weapon.

I do not see correlation with Smoker rank and with the creation of CoA when kairouseki exist and fire exist.

None of that requires CoC coating.

That's kind of corny though. Like imagine Odas vision was that Whitebeard needed to use seastone or a bucket of water to beat Crocodile..... Worlds Stronkest Man....

When you read Alabasta or Skypea for the first time, it seems corny to you?
It works cause it's Luffy, and he's the underdog, and at the time he doesn't have the abilities that Top Tier characters should possess.

It's corny if the likes of Whitebeard, Akainu, Kaido, Roger.. Etc.. Etc... Would have to use something like that to defeat opponents who are supposed to be lightyears beneath them.

You might see it has corny now because CoA exist but It is just a matter of perception.

Especially because there are a certain number of people who think that One Piece fights were better before CoA and that the fights would have been more creative than “my Haki is stronger than yours”.
