Shanks is the worst possible matchup for Kaido considering how big of a deal Oden was to Kaido. Think of Shanks as Oden but stronger as fuck and a Top Tier.


Kaido stopped developing at some point. He wasn't as active as he used to be. He wasn't doing much after becoming a Yonko.

Wano wasn't fair to Kaido although that is irrelevant to the Shanks vs Kaido argument. Shanks is the worst matchup for Kaido considering what Oden did to Kaido and Shanks is fuck knows how many times stronger than Oden.

I have Shanks in a High diff if we are talking pure 1 vs 1, no interruptions and fakeouts.

WSM is a subset of WSC. So Kaido > WB > every other human. No contradiction.

No other Character in the series can boast about killing the MC forcing the author to retcon his df. If the same happens again, I will happily accept that the said person surpassed Kaido. But it won't happen

He fake hypes whoever he needs at the moment. Although in case of Shanks you don't have to fear about fake hype since he is his golden boy.
