as i said, the artwork is the same as marineford, there is the close up, we see fodders being thrown around who confuse it with the earthquake, we see brook (someone who has seen CoC usage) call zoro out and in the official translation zoro denies causing the earthquake but not using the CoC and the entire thing is made ambiguous by the earthquake kaido caused.

i think oda purposefully did this to make it as ambiguous as possible to eventually build up to ch 1010. the anime will show it tho.

im not even a zoro fan wtf

im not into zoro vs sanji. my interest lies in the artwork and how oda potrayed it as a parallel to the other great war in one piece - the marineford war where again things started getting serious after another supernova (luffy) showcased his conquerors haki. i wanna see how oda is paralleling this arc with marineford. im just speculating here

i made this thread since i spotted this panel during my re read. whatever dude if you wanna be that one asshole, you do you. all im saying is that the anime is 99% gonna show CoC in this scene and yall will start blaming toei without looking at all the clues oda left.

they'll call all this fan fiction, clues that oda left in plain sight. oda chose to make the scene look ambiguous for the reveal in ch 1010. then once the anime makes zoro use CoC, they'll be the ones calling toei trash and anime filler.

I believe zoro used conquerors haki in the scene against queen and most of the fandom missed it cause we see him deny causing that earthquake to brook. notice how in the official translation zoro never denies using conquerors haki? he only denies causing the earthquake. i believe the anime will animate it the way it's supposed to be animated and we'll have tons of sanji fans in denial and calling the anime trash like they did this time.

im just posting it as a thread here so that i can use it in reference in other arguments when needed. thank you for reading and do give your feedback.

nice theory, imo this could definitely be the case it might or might not and with toei having zoro flex in a filler scene i wouldn't be surprised if they make this moment one as well because we can't tell as the reader also if they do make this a basic coc scene then for sure what zoro did vs kaido was AdvCoc

thank you! im 99% sure zoro used adv CoC in that scene where he cut kaido as well so it would be a beautiful forshadowing which oda (purposefully) made ambiguous. i think that monsters like kaido and bigmom cant be hurt or cut significantly by anything less than adv CoC. so yeah in that way it ties up logically.

also this is a beautiful parallel to marineford - both wars get serious once a super nova (luffy in marineford/zoro in wano) uses conquerors haki to tell everyone about their goal for this arc (luffy uses it unknowingly/while zoro uses it intentionally). thanks for reading and giving your feedback!
