Character Discussion Do you agree with the disappointment people have regarding Eustass Kid?

crushing and squising are the only way kidd is attacking the opponent,
it very repetitive, why not create a huge blade with metal and apply haki that would be more effective....nah let go with franky motorbike 2.0
anyway Golem Pica can apply much more pressure than Kidd if that is enough to damage a Yonko the Yonko are trash or you need to scale up Pica and also Zoro

Here is my take on it :
The worst thing about Eustass Kid isn't the character itself in the story but the fact that Oda is actually trying and thinking what he is doing is cool
that's way more scary imo , that means Oda is completely out of touch on what's "cool" to the fans ... In the story believe it or not, Kid's portrayal is positive but if you ask anyone with eyes and brain would tell you that his :
1- fighting style is complete shit, like borderline insult to the creative level oda has with other fighting style ... it is actually just walmart franky
2- his dialogue and idgf what any1 is saying ; him "believing" in luffy isnt character progression cuz we didnt see that shit , he has no reason to do that ... he should put his ego over luffy and say shit like "luffy go hold big mom , i will handle kaido" not "imma hold big mom not even defeat her , while go take the spotlight luffy sensai"

I use to hold Kidd in high regard when he was introduced, but for some odd feeling(maybe bias) but Luffy and Zoro was in their own league... now we are here in Wano, the more I start to see, Oda and I was on the same wavelength. I like to shit on kid, because of his fans overating him.. I've judge him accordingly, and he continues to prove why hes call midd. His attacks lack weight against top tiers ironically, but its consistentwith character(lost one arm not named shanks), but I'm somewhat surprised tbh, thought he would show out a little more, just for debate sake, but its obvious Kidd ain't that new wb.

Kidd is not just more durable than Luffy, he's far more durable than Luffy.
Your point makes sense in theory, but Kidd straight up surpasses that partial immunity with his own body.

I do think he was hurt by both Mamaraid and Ikkoku. Ikkoku is probably debatable given how he was being in Punk Rotten and that got eviscerated entirely. It's just that he has monstrous endurance which allows him to keep pushing forward despite sustaining damage.
I'm not saying he has fodder level durability, every high tier/top tier human in the series has superhuman durability given they can withstand attacks which destroy entire buildings without them losing an arm or being gravely injured. Just not exceptional durability. Exceptional endurance though, I'll give him that.
