Let me tell you why I read spoilers

1)lack of patience to wait for another day. Excitement to know what happens make me go for it.

2)spoiler thread is peak of discussions regarding that chapter in just one day. Mostly all active users read them and discuss it. We discuss so much that by the time chapter comes out, we already gets exhausted lol

3)gradual progression

We get brief spoiler info - - - > detailed spoiler info - - - - - >panels and scans - - - - - >raw chapter - - - - - >full chapter on JB

This keep us preoccupied and interested with element of surprise involved in it.

I skipped spoiler reading a year ago and realized that simply reading chapter is meant for those who aren't into discussion both Pl wise and plot wise.

Those who are, spoiler thread is life

Usually I take a little look. Anyway the real chapter is completely different, would you compare all the details Oda puts in a chapter compared to few panels, lines of dialogue/plot. The best things are the details that were foreshadowed months or even years before in a chapter you already read, maybe even more than a time.

I love reading the Spoilers, because you can just theorize about very much. I love how the discussions come out of nowhere, just increase and build and own whole Story, even if this Story isnt the real one shown in the chapter, i love how the Fantasy of the People explode and ist fun to discuss it.

I love spoilers. I've been reading spoilers only for the last 5 chapters or so. not yet in the mood for reading whole chapters xD

(accidentally posted in the wrong thread lol reposting here now)

I read them because they hype me even more for the chapter.
They don't lower the hype for the upcoming chapters for me but there is one flaw which is basically me wanting to read next week's spoilers after the current chapter scanlations drops.

Yeah I read the spoilers but I should stop, it’s better when you don’t read them. Chapter is always better as well and spoiler thread is toxic and full of candybois

I think I’ll just read it after a break week from now on

I read them cause I honestly can't freakin resist the urge to do so. When it's about that I'm actually very impatient. Most of the time I don't regret it, but sometimes it's awful, especially when there is some sudden turn in events, a reveal, a cool character introduction (for example Kaido entering the scene in Wano) or something. In those cases the surprise is gone and the hype is much less I'd say.
For example I stopped reading spoilers for a while right at the end of Dressrosa and I've got myself Kaido's intro unspoiled.. That was crazy.
Definitely one of those times were reading spoilers wouldn't have been a good idea to do.
But if not for those let's say "that shit was unexpected" chapters, reading the spoilers is actually pretty cool. I especially like to do so when we got some action chapters/powerscaling shit, often times it actually even hypes me up more for the actual chapter and the visuals. Then it feels like I've got myself "two One piece days" that week.

Tho in general I only really go at it, when images and/or a proper amount of info was already leaked.
If there are only One liners and "there will be a cover page next week" messages, I do not even bother. (that's why I don't like those overly early spoilers we got the last two times)
Tho next week w/o spoilers now. Let's see how it will be
