Do you think Anime community is not inclusive about women

:seriously:
You're clearly missing the point here. I think that altering the stories to fit a political/ ethical/ moral standpoint is cringe and stupid. I don't know about this persia movie, nor do I care. I only have a problem when works of art becomes re-interpreted just to adhere to some crying assholes.
Who cares if a character is black or white or asian? I don't fucking care about that, why do you automatically think the worst in things? Gee golly, you should take a stroll and take a sip of a nice drink and interact with people outside of your closed off ring.
Seems like you’re the one that needs to take a stroll if you’ve got your parties in a twist about Black Hermione. Literally don’t care about the franchise, yet Rowling is living rent free in y’all haters’ heads. Clearly you do care about Black Hermione, otherwise why’d you bring it up?

And stop dodging the question. How does Hermione being black alter the story? It doesn’t. Seems like you’re the one up in arms about shit that don’t matter ^^

Jake Gyllenhaal plays the prince of PERSIA or when Avatar the Last Airbender movie race bends Firelord Ozai to be the only character of colour?
The cast of that Avatar film was horrendous.
The bad guys bein middle easterners/indian and everyone else being white was weird af.
It was the same with The Hunger Games and Katniss being cast with a white actress.

And Jake Gyllenhaal as the prince of persia is not even the only instance of real world ethnicities being cast wrong... remember The 300? Persians were played by black actors because all non-whites are apparently the same...doesnt matter if middle easterners are played by black africans, according to hollywood.
Or Brad Pitt in Troy.
Or that third-rate Tutanchamun film, where that Mitanni girl was played by a black actress. The ancient Mitanni people looked very different.
Or native americans being played by people of ANY race, except native americans.

Like, whitewashing is awful but casting actors of any random minority ONLY for the sake of political correctness is just as bad.

I hate her because she's a TERF who demonised the trans community with her recent book
Sure. She deserves criticism if she's portraying minorities using negative stereotypes and one-dimensional tropes. I'm saying that if y'all are obsessed with Black Hermione, who was only a thing in the Cursed Child which nobody liked, y'all eat crayons for breakfast.

Still nobody has tried to explain to me how depicting a character as a different race alters the story. Skyrim is a story about Nord freedom and oppression, but you can make the Dragonborn any race you want. Must be forced diversity :kayneshrug:

In other words, it doesn't actually 'alter the story' as you hysterically claimed. You're just hyperfixated on the colour of actors' skins.

I don't care about the Black thing thing. I don't even care about Harry potter

What I care about is that she made an entire book demonising M2F Trans people as dangerous predators. Not only that but due to her fame and Influence, said book ended up Influencing some bigoted laws in the UK.

Uh, ok. Don’t see what this has to do with anything being discussed here. If you got a problem with that shit make another thread.

I’m guessing you must have some magical insight into directors’ casting decisions since you seem very certain about whether actors are being cast for political correctness or not ^^

Also very interesting that you consider depicting Hermione as Black in one play and exactly none of the movies as political correctness, not the author giving their approval for people to interpret the characters in their own ways. Do you have a problem with people interpreting Luffy as asexual? Interpreting Yamato as trans?

What’s even more interesting is that you consider this author-approved interpretation on the same level as depicting a prince of Persia as a white man when this flies in the face of both the story and the setting.

WHAT? What did I say about black Hermione?!

To answer your questions:
> Do you have a problem with people interpreting Luffy as asexual?

Not at all. I'd approve of that!

> Interpreting Yamato as trans?
Yamato is a difficult case. Could be trans, or could only want to be a man bc of their role model Oden being a man.

Every time when i play games that allow me to choose gender i play as a female. I've played enough games as a guy to the point its boring.

Same with manga. Most new MC's are the same. Luffy - Deku - Ichigo - Naruto - they are all the same - overly the top positive individuals that are "noble" and "good" and paragons of virtue
Nah you just pick female to look at that ass all day :myman:

Do woman have an obligation to be badass though? Doesnt guy have to be badass since they are the ones to struggle with adversity or painful conflicts while the women dont have such a burden? I mean is it natural for women to be badass?
