So no other west blue country trades with God valley has any diplomatic or economic ties with them at all? No one noticed that the celestial dragons were coincidently moving near that island at all before everyone died? And yeah, not a single member of the marines who were present at any of these games ever decided to leak anything, even though we know of literal CIPHER POL members who have become pirates. And the bird who reports the news talks about whatever is the most hype, including publishing about Roger finding an insane treasure at the end of the grand line. Somehow the WG can't stop him from publishing that, but they can stop him from talking about a genocide. Please stop trying to me sense of something that doesn't make sense. Logically if this was a thing that had been happening in the OP world, we would have learned about this in like 2002, not 2022
Oh also, literal slaves did escape god valley. Lmfao. I guess none of them leaked anything or even thought about telling anyone?
Shall I repeat that it's not the age of the smartphones and that information is something else on that world?

The Revos knew about it, the Yonkos knew about it, most truly important figures knew about it one way or another. Why didn't the albatross make it into a big deal? He probably knew as well, but there can be many reasons for him not to, like avoiding declaring war on WG.
Even with the Cobra incident, the only thing we have seen him write other than "Luffy is the 5th Yonko", what he wrote incriminating Sabo actually excuses the WG.

Remember that most people in the world of One Piece outside the Grand Line believe devil fruits to be a thing of legend, that's how bad communication is. Then there's the matter of trusting the information. People didn't immediatelly trust Vegapunk's words about climate change and even with the "proof" he gave of his honesty, a lot didn't. It would be even worse if the information were just random rumors or mouth to mouth.

Again, the frauds here that are creating a gaping hole in the narrative are the marines.

Yes. This bothers be the most about the whole twin affair. (And all the questions you listed afterwards)
I started to prepare myself for the possible future mess the moment we got info about Shanks being Figarland. I'm, perhaps, too ready for this thing to be clusterfuck...but, hey, there is hope since it's Shanks and Oda cares about him so maybe he did think things trough.

I think a twin already proved he maybe didn’t 😂
LMAO fair enough, but on the other hand Oda can try to contrast Shamrock and Shanks so Shanks looks even better as a person tho technically we already have a terrible brother figure of Shanks who's worse than him in every aspect and is literally a clown.

Edit: ahh hell nah I didn't understand the context of your reply properly, you meant that Oda didn't think things through, not that he doesn't like Shanks enough. Anyway, yes, the twin existence already makes possibility of Oda thinking things trough debatable

You think he needed to contrast Shanks? He already made him look way too good.

I think he’s been wondering what to do since Shanks talked with the Gorosei. He had no idea how to untangle Shanks from all that and not somehow make him evil, and then he just decided to solve it with a twin. I dunno.

Give me a break. Age of smartphones? The very premise of the entire story of one piece is that Roger was called the pirate king because he found a treasure at the end of the grand line. The entire world of one piece talked about it, and almost every famous future pirate came to see his execution. We see in Odens flashback that Morgans did indeed report on it. The entire story of one piece is about stories traveling around the world and how the government can´t completely get rid of them. The witnesses of god valley hunting games include, Whitebeard, one of the most influential people in the entire world of OP who controls countless islands through the new world as well as a huge crew and fleet, Big mom, who also controls several islands and a massive crew, and Kaido. These people alone rule over millions of people. We can go on to include Kuma, who is also pretty famous in his kingdom, and Roger the, fucking pirate king lmao, as well as Shiki, and several other rocks pirates who were supposedly pretty relevant at one point. How the hell did all these people get sworn into secrecy? That is beyond ridiculous.

Sorry, I edited my reply, I didn't understand your answer properly.

I mean we just can't tell for sure that he didn't plan the twin. But knowing Oda it's entirely possible that he didn't, he's shit at planing out. So there's a big chance you're right and Oda just chickened out.
