- Heavily wounded ''Iron'' Garp.

- Laughs after Garp's attack.

- Without DF power he was equal to Magellan, and was considered more deadly than Magellan.

- 2nd Strongest crew member of Blackbeard pirates:

- His character is based on legendary Japanese character Yasunori Kato (similar to how Admirals are based on Japanese characters).

- Shiryu will be possibly the end of the series fight for Zolo.

- Without DF power he was equal to Magellan, and was considered more dangerous than Magellan.
He is a fuckin swordsman , another power beside DF and science in one piece world.

Not every no.2 have CoC , when BB himself isn't Not CoC confirmed.

- His character is based on legendary Japanese character Yasunori Kato
Literally not even a single reason which explains why he must have CoC.

If that bum has CoC, expect every character that had CoC to be downplayed.

Also if he had any decent haki, he wouldn't have taken that shit fruit. He would have defeated Magellan as well, but we already know he got his shit kicked in Magellan in ID

No, nor do I think he should have it.

Instead, I think he should have extremeley high Observation and respectable Armament.

I like the idea of him being a foil to Zoro in the sense that he clearly cannot match him in strength, but has unique Haki abilities to completely hide his presence and thus pose a threat.

I can picture Zoro winning a fairly difficult battle by using Asura to spike his Haki abilities and "see him in the underworld" (think Sasuke seeing Madara's clones in Limbo) or other some cool ass shit to do with his King of Hell moniker.

It'd be also dope if in an early stage, before Shiryuu completely erases his presence, he also pushes Zoro to reach the pinnacle of his purely physical senses as a swordmaster - which in turn lets him know he's finally worthy challenging Mihawk because he knows he'll evolve and attain a new strength in their battle and overcome him.

Never mind me y'all, I'm high as shit and delving into fanfiction here. :denzimote:
