Best excuse ever, not important in the narrative.
It's not an excuse though.. When AdCoC is revealed by the main character of the series, that's when it matters the most narratively.. Yall getting confused cause you're focusing on every instances that are not relevant.. It's made pretty clear by Law and reinforced by Oden..

Your problem is that you are equating the no touch thing to single use also while the examples you quote are of two ACoC users clashing. This no touch was showed first b/w Roger and WB and then Luffy and Kaido. However, Yamato vs Kaido also showed this.

Before this we have instances of characters clashing like Roger and WB but without the no touch. Shanks vs WB and Kaido vs BM. Only BM is the character who has also shown the use of no touch ACoC (Page One attack) and Garp (Galaxy Impact).

What we do know for certain is that these are not the only uses of ACoC by these characters, these same characters have used the touching version of ACoC more times than the no touch version.

ACoC has one clear consistent indicator and that is haki trails before the attack on the weapon (sword/club/fist), nothing else, if an attack has this trail then it is an ACoC (Conqueror Coating) attack.

And those are not important in the narrative.. When Luffy unveiled AdCoC that's when it matters...

It's a lousy explanation. The narrative always comes first regardless of Luffy. If your ideals or thoughts don't fit the narrative, you have to change yourself and not the narrative.

Here Luffy already knew more than enough about the AdvCoC and we see how Kaido hits him. It is supposed to be the final attack of both, so it is obvious that there is AdvCoC, as the trails mark...

Coincidentally, both scenes refer to the confrontation of two attacks with AdvCoC.

- There is evidence that two AdvCoC attacks did not touch each other.
- There is evidence that a single attack from AdvCoC does hit its target.

You can not ignore the parts that do not interest you, you have to find an explanation that justifies both irrefutable facts. You don't have to be very smart to find the explanation and more when more than 90% of the fandom agrees on something.

Clear Visual Distinction than any other attacks..

We know those are ACoC. Since you believe they are CoA haki attacks please provide that scene where the manga tells us those attacks only have CoA haki, not ACoC.

Luffy realized after taken from Kaido's club he is infusing his attacks with CoC.

Those things explain to us Kaido's attacks code with black lightning, regardless if they are touch or no touch, are ACoC haki attacks.
