His clash with garp looked lame and it reinforces garp = roger. We saw old garp in action and his feats outside of speed was not that good imo. No special level of haki or anything like that.

I had opinion that even before this chapter it was clear Roger was not that much special . He was conirmed equal to WHitebeard , pretty much hinted Garp is his equal too with huge possibility of Sengoku too and storm saved him from losing to Shiki .
