Anime & Manga Dragon twister

That only applies when we have scenes like this
Obviously, now that it suits their agendas, the anime is 100% canon.
the double standards honestly i though anime was suppose to be an explicit representation of the manga illustrations
just coz the anime depicts the manga sequences decently here it turns into agendas coz it opposes your em embarrassing claims at the time of canon release

even canonically on manga panels there wasn't any twister remaining from kaido's attack for it to be overwhelmed by zoro

matter the fact the assertion you make that he overwhelmed it.. or them given there were 3..is precise and a feat enough to be pointed out in the manga in zoro's bag ..which it never was.. and never was alluded to.

so you do you with your delusions honestly

Zoro didn't sneak Apoo with Shishishi Sonson because the anime showed it differently?
Sanji's move in the Raidsuit was stopped by King with a single palm?
Kaidou no-sold KKG in his fight against Luffy in act 1?
Sanji was knocked out for over an episode/chapter after getting beaten effortlessly by King?

The double standards and dishonesty is from the group which picks and chooses whether the anime is non-canon or whether the anime is an "explicit representation of the manga illustrations" based on whether it supports their agendas or not. If you're saying that this episode's content is canon, then so are all the others.

So Kaidou's twisters just disappeared like that? Despite it dragging Luffy away? When the very point of Zoro using Twisters in return is to get Luffy out of Kaidou's mouth? Or how did Zoro's Tatsumaki go away exactly?

Kaidou even felt the need to respond with a stronger move which combined two elemental moves to prove his point in his Twister competition with Zoro. But yeah, let's stick with the anime now that it suits your agenda instead of looking at the reason/nuance as to why this happened.

zoro was soo worried about luffy hence he used weak dragon twister against a Yonko to save luffy

i love how beautifully you have decimated common sense here.
it's really not that difficult to understand:
zoro's objective was to free luffy.
tatsumaki can hit multiple times.
one slash was enough.
luffy freed, tatsumaki stopped.

no point prolonging the attack since it would leave luffy vulnerable.

yea it did disappear like that just like zoro's did basically barely any traces after Kaido get cut and BM reacts to it.. so to argue that it should have lasted longer is pointless.. it vanished on panels it vanished in the anime.. arguing that it shouldn't have is your own qualms that honestly aren't gonna change how both counterparts depict it.

beside zoro overpowering a Yonko is a feat.. if it had ever happened it would have been mentioned.
Kaido never alluded to zoro overpowering his twister.. but pulling his own after his in a way to compete against him

Zoro's twister was big and towering Kaido and was his strongest one yet.. it was uncanny to because he personally jumps and cuts Kaido and not like FMI where he sends slashes in the twister and where the twister is sustained for longer

it is what it is face it you were wrong.. the burden of proof is against you.

Episode 998: when your fav Sanji gets thrashed by King in the anime:
and people are gaging based on anime..

NICE.. good to see the cancer return.
Now that it suits your agenda:

B-but Zorotards' double standards and dishonesty!1!! :josad:

Show me where it vanished in the manga. The manga never showed what happened to the Twisters, they just showed the twisters being shot out and never showed whether they disappeared after a while or whether they disappeared once they clashed with each other. Besides, Kaidou's words and actions, especially him throwing out a stronger twister to prove himself, suggests that Zoro's Tatsumaki > Kaidou's first Tatsumaki.
beside zoro overpowering a Yonko is a feat.. if it had ever happened it would have been mentioned.
Zoro overpowered Kaidou's twisters, not Kaidou himself. That happens later on with Ashura.

The burden of proof is on you to prove that Zoro's twister vanishes if he leaps and physically cuts his opponent instead of using it as a ranged move. No where in the manga did it show any of the Twisters vanishing - both Kaidou's and Zoro's.

I'm not gonna argue coz things are as obvious as they can be like i said you do you with your delusions and use a reused animation of filler and compare it to a canon adaptation of the manga.. the discrepancy oufff..

:kobeha::kobeha:

typical ConquistadoR move.. question the obvious and derive nonsensical nuances to suit and defend his disproven assertions..

-Zoro's twister fades on Kaido when Bm reacts to the moment

- Kaido's twisters vanishes some time after he chomps luffy and zoro gets out of it

- "you dare challenge me to a dragon twister" (something inherent to his arsenal) /=/ "you dare compete/overpower with my drgaon twister"

- Kaido pulls no tornadoes in his second go just air slashes by stirring air around

- Kaido doesn't seem to pull a stronger tornado but a different DT

-nothing alludes to zoro overwhelming kaido's 3 drgaon twisters that were larger than Kaido itsel.. thats a fan fiction or the fact that zoro's DT was superior just the fact that his DT challenged Kaido in his own game

things are as blatant as they can be.. use yoir assumptions as much as you want it ain't changing how there wasn't a drgaon twister around Kaido when zoro was charging up his tatsumaki.

take your L like a chad man..

Not really tbh. Even the anime showed that they were nameless slashes. The aim of the scene was to show how potent CoA hardening is, especially in the case of Zoro.
Anime is non canon in manga debates, period.

Some subtle details which are revealed in the anime and not in the manga can be used though f.ex. the anime revealing that the person who was sneaking around Jinbe and Robin in ch. 979 was Yamato and about how Law's Chambres is buffed in rains/snow.
"Subtle details" "Aim of the scene was to show..."
and when anime shows nuances like there being no tornadoes around zoro when he's about to execute tatsumaki

ConquistadoR gets a seizure

bu bu bbb bbb

how to tornado di dissapera s- s- so quickly

nah man just you being inconsistent.

On the facts though:
In the anime the sound effects of the twister are still going on when the focus shifts to Zoro starting his attack. Then all the focus is on the attack (we have no indication whether the twisters are going on or finished). Next we see no twisters and then Zoro launches his attack. He makes one cut which makes Kaido spit Luffy out. There are no ongoing twisters. We get Kaido saying you dare challenge me to a dragon twister and then unleashes his next attack called Dragon Twister Demolition Breath.

Takeaways
1. There is no evidence that Zoro's twister cancelled out/overpowered Kaido's twisters.
2. Zoro landed only attack since his main focus was rescuing Luffy and as we know from his FMI Tatsumaki that it can go on for a good length of time and land multiple attacks. However it would be stupid of Zoro to keep his attack ongoing if Luffy is also in the vicinity (Tatsumaki was covering full dragon form Kaido) so Luffy might also get cut, specially when is out of Haki.
3. Zoro's Tatsumaki was a direct challenge to Kaido, we can see a dragon (in the anime it has been shown to be as big as Kaido while in the manga it was smaller) coming out from Enma face to face with Kaido. Kaido took it as a challenge that Zoro countered/used a similar attack to Kaido's previous attack and hurt Kaido. Then Kaido launched a variant/upgraded version of this previous attack.
4. The two attacks may seem similar but server different functions, Zoro's tatsumaki is meant to cut while also throwing people in the air. While Kaido's first one was just throwing people around and the next one had the slicing part added to it.

Yeah subtle exposition details like those examples I showed in that post. Not combat sequences since Toei clearly doesn't give a fuck else why would they show Zoro destroying Apoo 1v1 instead of the attack being what it is, a sneak in the manga?
"Aim of the scene was to show..."
Aim of the *manga* scene. Nice attempt at cherrypicking though, B for effort.

You could've atleast picked a different post if you wanna "expose my inconsistencies" yet still you chose a post where I explicitly say that anime is non-canon in manga debates. :kobeha:

and when anime shows nuances like there being no tornadoes around zoro when he's about to execute tatsumaki
Just like how the anime showed nuances like Zoro not sneaking Apoo?
Or are you gonna pick and choose which one based on what suits your agenda here as well lol?

-Zoro's twister fades on Kaido when Bm reacts to the moment
Fair, agreed. But it further proves my point.
- Kaido's twisters vanishes some time after he chomps luffy and zoro gets out of it
Where does it vanish? Panel please?
- "you dare challenge me to a dragon twister" (something inherent to his arsenal) /=/ "you dare compete/overpower with my drgaon twister"
It does mean that when Kaidou responds with a stronger twister - where he combines two different elemental attacks into one.
Kaido pulls no tornadoes in his second go just air slashes by stirring air around
- Kaido doesn't seem to pull a stronger tornado but a different DT
Your cope is irrelevant - Kaidou combines three of his elemental attacks into one in that move. It's called Dragon Twister Demolition Breath where we see abilities from his lightning breath, Demolition Gust and Dragon Twister with how he gathers the air before setting it off.

which is basically

-nothing alludes to zoro overwhelming kaido's 3 drgaon twisters that were larger than Kaido itsel.. thats a fan fiction or the fact that zoro's DT was superior just the fact that his DT challenged Kaido in his own game
Kaidou's 3 twisters weren't not larger than him, that's a blatant lie. Even combined they are barely as big as a part of Kaidou's long Dragon form. Zoro's, on the other hand, engulfed his body entirely which is what led to Kaidou proving himself with a stronger move.

things are as blatant as they can be.. use yoir assumptions as much as you want it ain't changing how there wasn't a drgaon twister around Kaido when zoro was charging up his tatsumaki.
Why should the twisters that Kaidou aimed at Kid and Killer be near his body when he's attacking Luffy after setting off those twisters?

Not combat sequences since Toei clearly doesn't give a fuck else
Tornadoes are combat sequence.. cute

Kaidou's 3 twisters weren't not larger than him, that's a blatant lie.
they are towering Kaido not larger than him but larger than his posture that was consistent through out first parts of roof piece

Zoro's, on the other hand, engulfed his body entirely which is what led to Kaidou proving himself with a stronger move
given the posture zoro didn't encompass Kaiod's length like kaiod's own twisters didn't but it towered him in that posture .. zoro pulling it led to Kaido saying what he did.. not overwhelming or consuming 3 of kaido's is mentioned or alluded.. that is a headcanon

Zoro DT wasn't shit compared to kaido's but to say it could consume all 3 of Kaido's given their Aoe vs Zoro's twister Aoe.. umph canceling the 3 combined,,given their each heads being wider than kaido's width and given zoro's is about the same would be a FEAT surely a different topic to discuss all together but it didn't and zoro pulled it after kaido's twisters faded.

Why should the twisters that Kaidou aimed at Kid and Killer be near his body when he's attacking Luffy after setting off those twisters?
LMFAO aimed funny
Kaidou combines three of his elemental attacks into one in that move.
assumptions.. and there wasn't any turbulent wind attack that like the initial tornadoes that flung kid, zoro and Luffy

its a wind slice attack mainly
there was no combining tornado twister non of that crap lmao

cope more
It does mean that when Kaidou responds with a stronger twister - where he combines two different elemental attacks into one.
he pulled a completely different tatsumaki that isn't even causing wind turbulence bruh.. he pulled a different a tatsumaki
and as shown above he doesn't combine his Tornadoes that only formed against luffy and not against the SN together.. again head Canon.. and kaiod replying it with a stronger and different tatsumki doesn't make zoro's superior to his previous ... and to claim its superior to the 3 combined is a headcanon given their singular AOE circling Kaido himself while lifting kid and killer away and Luffy and zoro into it.
Post automatically merged:

You should be more worried about this:

that is a Feat and no one can deny its highly admirable

but to claim a non existent event as to zoro overpowering kaido's twisters is what who said he did should be worried about but are coping regardless

there is a difference between claiming a non existing feat and comparing the twisters themselves

Zoro did put a DT against kaido hence kaido's response for zoro challenging him to it.. nothing of the sort that many of yall claimed happened and even the anime proved it further.

Go read episode 1018 thread and lmk how many “zorofans” were using what happened there as canon. There is no double standard here both you guys and sanji fans do the same thing you’re trying to call them out for here.

aside for being a Sanji stand fujishi, there has been an acceptance towards generally anime elaborating on the manga or representing its panels and taking it into account rather than manga's ambiguity.. thats why you see people saying "lets see how it gets adapted in the anime for clarification", and this topic of tatsumaki os no different.. here's where the discrepancy is invoked and plane ignorance being shown both towards the manga and the anime where zoro overwhelming kaido's tornadoes is nonexistent. They rather dwell in their assumptions.
