I think this whole "everything will be happy" is a big bait
EZ is a dark fantasy and Nox said that some things might change for the worse
We will get 1-2 happy chapters and then BAM

Nice spoilers.

Witch scene was good. I like how Shiki and Rebecca hug her and she doesn't know what happens. But like you, I think that some events or character fates will be changed in this world. And I also think, that it will be more dark, because Rebecca can't use cat leaper, so she can't rewrite the time this time, so if Drakken and/or Neros are enemies again, this time they could really hurt/kill some of the main characters. Like as an example, this time Weisz could really lose his arm because of Drakken.
