Speculations Egghead but with Ryokugyu instead of Kizaru

How different would Egghead arc be if the Admiral sent to escort Saturn was Aramaki instead of Kizaru?


There are 3 things to take into consideration here:

1- His mission to kill Vegapunk

2- His inevitable fight with Emperor Luffy

3- How he will deal with the Straw Hats and Kuma

so against Bonney, or Vegapunk or Kuma he wouldn’t hesitate one second to go for the stab

this would change a good deal I think

He would have been a bit less distracted against Luffy too

But he wouldn’t have been able to go inside Egghead that quick because only Kiz can go that fast inside the energy barrister

So Saturn and Ryo wouldn’t be here that quickly and maybe it would have been easier to escape ?

Bit I’m sure Oda would have found a way plot wise for Greenbull to come in

Egghead would go very badly for the Straw Hats and Vegapunk.

Ryokugyu would pass through the light barrier with no injury since he is a logia.

Then he would come into contact with Luffy first who would go Gear 4, and Ryokugyu would kill him. Ryokugyu is not a Luffy fanboy like Kizaru and Luffy holding back would be the last mistake he makes.

So then Luffy’s dead and nobody else can stop him.

Then he goes up to where Vegapunk is and kills him and all the Straw Hats.

And that’s the end of the mission really, when Lucci said he and Kizaru would eliminate the Straw Hats he wasn’t kidding. Obviously he didn’t know Kizaru would be so emotionally compromised but if a serious Admiral would’ve gone to Egghead the Straw Hats would’ve been fucked without Saturn even needing to disembark.

I’m sure Ryokugyu may cause collateral damage and/or destroy shit he wasn’t supposed to destroy but Egghead would have been an overwhelming Government victory with Ryokugyu there.

He would attack Vegapunk and SHs on sight, incapacitated them at the very least

Dont understand why the navy thought its a good idea to send Kizaru to Egghead while he has a past with basically everyone connected to there.

Egghead would have been much more intense if it was Akainu or even Greencalf since they would actually attempt to kill Vegapunk for real and not allow him to run his mouth infront of them

It would be much easier for Luffy to stall him since he can't move at light speed, so Luffy wouldn't run out of stamina so fast.

The Broccoli form looks ass and slow, just like Saturn's. I have to say that Saturn and the Broccoli is a much better combination than Kizaru and Saturn.

Not sure about that, keeping up with Kizarus speed is what exhausted Luffy to the point where he couldnt move. I dont think Greenbull is as fast as Kizaru.

Lee and some people here dont seem to understand that the main issue Luffy had with Kizaru was his speed. Greenbull is nowhere near that fast. Luffy would have a far easier time fighting Greenbull than Kizaru because matchups matter.

Greenbull would still be tricky because his regeneration applies to even haki based attacks as long as he has nutrients I’m pretty sure (since fire should have broken his logia defense and his still regrew himself).

The biggest problem I see here is that Greenbull wouldn’t be able to enter the dome without taking immense damage from the laser barrier and he’d probably take extra damage being the forest logia.

I agree with the speed thing but in compare Greenbull has something else what could make Luffy bring lot of trouble:

AoE and the most important thing: Health power.

Pretty sure Greenbull could stall long enough to the point where Luffy lose the first round when G5 runs out.


Aramaki is also tricky and skilled, it would take lot of time for Luffy to beat him.

Also like Kizaru, Aramaki is probably awakened too and would use it against Luffy.

And if Kizaru can endure one entire round of G4+G5 without awakening, I have no doubt Aramaki could do the same.

And yes the reason why Oda decide to bring Kizaru this arc is also his struggle with his emotions to give the strawhats better chances.

Things would be different if Aramaki was around Saturn since he is more ruthless, Vega would be dead from now on.
