Even ray knew he was old enough where he had to bluff against blackbeard and used his reputation to end things on Amazonlilly. Garp going to challenge bb directly is a bad move, I think he's going to get killed off for kobys development and to hype blackbeard.

I've started thinking dragon might show up before this egghead incident is over. The rest of the wg will be completely focused on luffy after egghead but I think luffy will be focused on blackbeard.

As for the narrator, the narrator tends to exaggerate shit. This shit below literally had people thinking he got teleported somewhere, to elbaf, or the RA or etc.. Especially the non-viz translations, that said "But an incident would occur, the disappearance of Dr. Vegapunk"

If I'm not wrong in Arabasta was stated that Pluton has name of god, same goes with Poseidon. Saturn is also god, god of time to be accurate. All planets has gods name. So I believe with just one name Oda show case us truth about Gorosei.

Prime Roger Pirates were surrounded by an inferior Shiki pirates fleet and needed a lucky storm to escape. You believe an inferior strawhat crew is capable of legit beating a fleet much bigger than that Shiki fleet?
For that Ohara buster call where they knew they didn't have a combat threat, they had Kuzan/Akainu (though not in their primes) on board the ships, and they weren't even the main leaders of the bustercall.

Now you have a bustercall where they know there's insane power there, the marines are coming with powerhouses and fleet way beyond at Ohara.

- SHP pursuing and possessing the most information about the void century + a means to read the poneglyphs through VP and Robin

- WG learns that Luffy has acquired one of the three ancient weapons (Poseidon) in addition to being the closest to Pluton (Franky)

- Up steps Usopp who at first try figures out how to use it to successfully to pick out individual targets and destroy them with the press of a button. God Usopps reputation enhances.

- VP reveals the cannon is identical to Plutons cannon but he doesn't understand yet how such a powerful cannon can be used from a ship, he powers it on the island somehow.

- Franky gets inspired, figures something out and installs similar technique to the Sunny (by the next arc or two) and thus Sunny gets one step closer to really becoming Pluton.

Nice but.. Having Sea Kings just decimate a fleet would be anticlimactic, it's implied a whole WAR will happen again.

It's not just Sea Kings, it's the broader implication. Nobody knows of Poseidon once again being active. WG knows Joy Boy is active again after 800 years and now he has allied with Poseidon just like back then.

Yonko Mugiwara no Luffy repeatedly and with frightening pace does things none of the previous yonko ever did. And that scares the WG.

WB, BM, Kaido and Shanks strived for peace/balance or put together 20+ year old plans of building armies. None of them got close to creating the chaos Luffy does on a daily. Just look at the list below

Also Whitebeards speech entirely states that the war comes after One piece is found, not before.

About WB speech,lets remember that not always what characters says its exactly what happens (example: Luffy saying he will defeat Big Mom) otherwise it would be kinda spoilerish. I think a better final battle would be a pirate battle,but we'll see
