Hopefully it bites the both of them in the ass (probably will)
Like who’s gonna buy a 500$ game besides a couple streamers and fanatics. Tons of people still haven’t played Bloodborne even.

Essentially Nightreign’s ranked mode. You win games and you get points and rank up, you lose games and you lose points and rank down. The enemies get harder as you progress.
At depth 5, enemies have something like 2x health and over 3x the damage
Yeah throwing yourself on the ground , doing panic rolling is very brave compared to standing still , bracing yourself and taking the actual impact of the attack.

Actually researching it more, I think the Elden ring movie is in good hands.
Alex Garland’s films tend to be character vignettes with a lot of the world building kind off of to the side.
His style would work really well for ER as he could hyper focus on a specific charcater storyline like Vyke or something without actually spoiling a lot of the lore.
Thinking of giving this one a try. Never played any of the souls game either, am I in for a rage quit?
Is there stuff to explore outside of the fights?

Never had the specs nor time for it (or other games tbh) for a few years now. I'll probably pick it up these days and see if it's my cup of tea.
Playing Drake's Fortune rn, trying to get through that series first
