That's not an error. Both 106.101 and Redon corroborated it's just that you have to know enough about Japan to get the reference. The dialogue (At least in Japanese) is a heavy reference to a common story troupe in Japanese dramas/animes where a pervert tries taking off a girl's kimono by pulling off the obi (It's like a belt instead it holds your entire kimono together). The early uses of this troupe was a bad guy doing it to a damsel.

Think of it as the handlebar mustache, bowl hat villain tying a damsel to a traintrack except more Japan-like (more perverted basically)

I didn't say it improved to Enel's range, it showed the same features as Enel who was able to hear conversations because he combined his devil fruit power with his CoO and Sanji can do the same without a lightning devil fruit.
