Power up?

I personally believe all evidence points towards yes and he's prospered tremendously from it. He couldn't do what he's doing now with Shishui and Oda is finally coming out and showing us what he's capable of. So I ask the question, do you think it's a power-up and if not, why?
:watchout:

Yeah nothing changes still in denial.
That's 47 chapters of denial more than one year.
Where in 955 it is stated the blade has Oden's will. Red scabbards have Oden's will this is what Oda show to us. Or you think Ame also have Oden's will ?.
It is not denial, it is just reading the manga.

-Hitetsu told Luffy that he cannot leave the forest because he is waiting for someone

-In Kawamatsu’s flashback we learned that the will of a samurai stay with their sword after their death which is why they are usually buried with their sword

-At the end of the chapter where Hiory propose Enma to Zoro you have an editor’s note saying : « Inherited will »

-When Hitetsu introduce the swords he explained that Oden let those swords for his children to inherited them

-So in 955 we discovered that the someone Hitetsu was waiting was Momonosuke to give him and Hiory their inheritance

So yeah, we know since 955 what Enma is and yeah Ame-no-habakiri wield Oden’s will.

He is literally using Enma as he wishes to...
In first attack he gave it no haki, now he released haki. It literally gets only what he decides to release.
Bro that's what I said since chapter 955
Yes, the scythe was no different than the two swords.
Wtf ?
Nothing you say will change that fact.
Tf where did I said Enma doesn't use Zoro's ryuo ?
Where has the manga stated Zoro has mastered enma? Nowhere, just your mind. Hitetsu never stated Zoro mastered enma. He just said the sword has yet to become a black
Now please post the panel just before this one.
Just because you can do something better today than you did yesterday doesn't mean you have master it.
He mastered it because :
He have no after-effects
He don't cut what he doesn't want to cut
Wasn't the arguments you Zoro's fan were using to say he didn't mastered it ?

ISDS pre-skip was a close range attack, Post TS it also have a long range effect.

In Kawamatsu’s flashback we learned that the will of a samurai stay with their sword after their death which is why they are usually buried with their sword
Kawamatsu when he said that talked about Samourai who dies in the battlefield.
Look again.
Oden died without his swords.

At the end of the chapter where Hiory propose Enma to Zoro you have an editor’s note saying : « Inherited will
My bad i'm wrong on this one, I read the chapter again.

First of all, yes, swords in general are power ups, if you transition to a blade of higher quality. That became clear, once swords were divided into classes; into normal weapon and Meito, and Meito having 4 classes themselves (grade, skillful grade, great grade, supreme grade). A supreme grade sword is obviously much stronger than a grade sword. But that power up does not always come without the effort of mastering that blade. In both Kitetsu's and Shusui's case, Zoro had to get used to it.

Now regarding Enma. Big Mom called Enma "no ordinary Katana". That in itself does not mean, that the power of Zoro's strikes comes from the blade itself. Zoro also pointed out, that Enma has a special aura, which he could sense without even seeing or touching the sword. Tengu also drew parallels between Kitetsu and Enma, saying that both are swords that cannot be wielded by the weak. So Big Mom feeling the aura of Enma in itself doesn't take away feats from Zoro.

Kaido feeling Oden's presence is also no proof of the blade holding special powers, as we have learned, that the blade inherits the will of the user. But the story taught us, that blades are no exception in that regard. People can also inherit someone's will, like the Scabbard's inherited Oden's will. Even Devil Fruits can inherit the will of the former user, as the Mera Mera no Mi inherited Ace' will and Sabo, upon burning Burgess', said, that although he wanted to let him go, it seemed like Ace did not forgive him.

Now what's Enma's power by definition? Drawing excess amounts of the users Ryuo. That's right. The attack Zoro used, was amplified with his own Haki, and he used a technique that he used already pre TS against Ryuma. There is no proof whatsoever, that the blade stores it's users Haki, let alone over the span of 20 years. This is why Kaido only commented on Enma having Oden's presence, while in the case of the scabbard's, he questioned whether they are using Oden's Ryuo. Had he said the same about Enma or Zoro, that it is Oden's Ryuo, it would have been another case, but that case did not happen.

Lastly, some appreciation of Zoro from different people, including including Big Mom:
  • Tengu said that Oden, so far, was the first one to tame Enma; no one before or after him ever managed to do it. Kinemon, a Scabbard, also said, that he would refuse to take it. Yet Zoro took and (mostly) tamed that sword, which speaks for his incredible Haki, will power and skill as a swordman. Tengu however goes even a step further and says, that Zoro will eventually achieve what Oden couldn't: forging Enma into a black blade

  • Big Mom told Kaido, that he underestimated Zoro. So she talked about him as an individual, rhather than complimenting the sword itself.

Did it far less than Oden
Still cant master Enma yet despite training with Mihawk and in wano

Tamed enma mostly because he had wado already

Enma is a PU , a special sword.
The only time Linlin calls a weapon odd is somehow Enma
The only time Kaido senses a presence ina weapon... somehow Enma again

But hey "It's nothing unusual or special since all swords have this bla bla"
