WB himself considered that he wasnt the strongest then, us as viewers saw his internal monologue and his health failing.

And Oden was shown to be a good judge of character's strength.

9 of the people he was ''losing'' to 10vs1000 are getting bodybagued by Human form Kaido right now. If the fight between Oden and Kaido started with the latter in human form then the fight wouldve gone way differently.

Intro narration that gave him the benefit of the doubt according to some people. Nowhere is it stated as factual, like Oda writing down under their name, 'strongest in the world'.

Old WB was considered the strongest of all, just like some people including Killer consider Kaido to be the strongest.

Wasn't Kaido's title disproven when he lost to Oden? Kaido didn't show himself to be superior to BM or Oden, and by extension, WB and Roger.

There are a number of people who started calling him a stronger pirate now. People = sengoku, killer is a person like sengoku, Skull too. They are all people in the end, and they all "say". So "People say" applies to everyone.
Everything said by sengoku and others about the WB is what "people say."

Oden is much stronger than the 9 scabbards though. 4 of their strongest can't even replicate one named move. I don't know how the match up between human Kaido and Oden will go so I won't comment.

The Kaido/Mihawk matter is still debatable since the statement about Kaido stems from one person only who also never witnessed Mihawk's power. In other words, Killer is ultimately unaware of Mihawk's potential so his statement could be as accurate as not since it lacks a concrete basis. :)
