Speculations Eustass Kidd will be the downfall of Big Mom

#22
I have always thought it's possible Luffy might pull a reverse Rocks and take down Big Mom after Kaido, but unlikely.
I think Elbaf is more likely.
I believe Big Mom is meant to fall alongside Kaido in Wano to mark the end of Rocks and the end of the old era. Again look at what CP0 said in the panel I posted. Tell me that isn’t a red herring lol

So you think Luffy is going to beat Kaido AND Big Mom in the same arc? Damn lol.

DF awakening. Combing CoC with his attacks. Do you believe those are possible power ups that Kidd could have in this arc:choppawhat:
Also Onigashima is heading to Wano right now, which is where Udon Prison is. What does Udon Prison have a lot of? Metal.
I don’t think Luffy will solo Kaido, I think it’ll take the nine straw hats combined efforts. Then Luffy may solo big mom with help

At least one of the sn should die in the defeat of the yonko, assuming that they are the ones who defeat them and no unexpected guests appear and the one who will die will be Kid or Killer. I think Big Mom will finally get really serious and more with the request of Prometheus

Kidd won’t die and I doubt killer will either.

Oh yeah Oda definitely built up and hyped kidd for so long just to kill him definitely makes sense.

The guy in your profile picture has a bigger chance of dying to big mom

LoL :milaugh:
is normal that you think that because you are a fan of Kid but the brother of the protagonist, son of the pirate king, commander of the legendary WB, invited to join the Shishibukai & Kaido's crew gave him all the hype, he captured him, released him and then
he kill him :suresure:
Everything is possible

Having two yonko out of the equation considering the state of the novae is for now unlikely, also considering that BM will hardly fall for the same trick again. However if Kidd manages to surprise eventually things could change but in that case I would still more likely nominate Zoro for ZKK and Luffy for prominent agent in defeating Big Mom. Given Luffy v Big Mom was portrayed for over a decade, that's also why I think she will probably be defeated in another arc and more probably in a 1 on 1.

I dont think he'll take her down but he'll definitely get Adv CoC and it'll end in a stalemate when Kaido goes down ( Luffys not soloing, Yamato and others will join).
Kidd went after BM to keep her away.

But after Wano, I think Kidd goes back after Shanks, believe he was his first goal. Don't see him beating Shanks but it'll be a high diff imo. And Luffy will have his 1v1 with BM.

I do not think so.

Since chapter 651 Luffy said he was going to beat BM in the new world.

He said it also said in chapter 871 that after Kaido she will be next.

He must have said it other times too, but I forgot.

And Kid doesn't have the Ryou to hurt Big Mom Neither haki of kings advanced to hope to do something Perhaps his fruit will allow him to retain 1 chapter with the help of others but that will be all there will be for him.

You expect too much from Kid when he's not a main and central character in One Piece's story.

If you have too many expectations on a character that was not even originally planned, you risk being disappointed.

Honestly it would be the best narrative outcome and actually keep the Supernova/Worst Generation relevant.

Also, I don't see how having Luffy face her again in another arc after beating Kaido wouldn't be anything but pathetic. It would also be far more screentime in comparison to her peers which wouldn't make a lot of sense.
