don't you guys think inactive players are more likely townies with no abilities though?
I feel like when you get a "cool" role like Mafia and stuff, you end up being hyped to play
Most of the time when someone gets a "boring" role, like being a simple townie with nothing, then they might end up being afk

What you said is true but people can get inactive just to coast and let town vs town happen because town is most likely to Lynch active ones than inactive ones.
And, as of now we don't have consensus on Lynch of active player.
Also, if we take out active player then we will lose thread presence in an already dead game.

it depends on the player. some like to play with fancy roles, others can be active with anything
also mafia tends to be inactive because of their inability to fake scum hunt so they prefer to hide, or they r just busy players

Oh man, the start of the GoT round is another factor that won´t be helpful for this round.
No matter what role every player has it´s a shame, hosting rounds always means putting time and effort in it, I´m speaking of experience from the other board, there was one round I had to deal with similiar problems as a host and it drove me crazy.
