I don't think you know what's sensible or how to write properly either.
At least I do not make 100 useless threads because I have no life and get all of them closed for being ridiculously stupid.

The archetype of the heroes journey was not invented by george Luca, not that i would expect americans to have any overarching literary understanding.
She copied the worst witch books, btw, almost a copy over the first books.
Level 1: Star Wars is better than Harry Potter
Level 2: Both Star Wars and Harry Potter are the same story
Level 3: Both Star Wars and Harry Potter are based on the Heroes Journey
Level 4: All stories are based on the heroes Journey
Level 5: The Heroes Journey is not really a pertinent theory
Level 6: All stories are the same, they all take about Love.
Level 7: The heroes journey is a good tool to start writing but it's not enough.
Level 8: Star wars and Harry Potter are so much more than the heroes Journey.
Level 9: All stories are political and Star wars is highly political
Level 10: Star wars is better than Harry Potter

Apart from your general retarded ness,
Harry potter is much more political than star wars, because in star wars you literally have that ALL the bad guys belong to the same faction and literally are BAD GUYS, and while the same mostly holds true for harry potter, you have an excellent depiction of media being used to manipulate the truth, the governemnt using repression and the media to change reality and oprressor using the shield of the law to feel authorised to do anything.

Harry potter is much more political than star wars,
Lol, no.

because in star wars you literally have that ALL the bad guys belong to the same faction and literally are BAD GUYS
Yeah, that's the point. lmao.

Did you watched Star Wars episode 1 2 and 3 ? Did you watch the orignal Trilogy ? Andor ?

Come on.

Yes, Harry Potter is good in term of politic (and sometimes extremily bad) but Star Wars is simply PARSECS on top hehe

- The rise of fascism (and not the type of repression that is depoliticized in Harry Potter)
- Separatism and crisis used by people in power to overthrow democracy
- The weaponinzation of cloning
- The precarity of the outerrim
- The rise of the resistance
- The critic of capitalism and forced labor through the enslavement of prisonners.
- The questionning of the imperialism of the Jedi and their blindness in front of the rise of fascism
- The radicalization of youth
- A 20 years long rebellion and a coordinated resistance
- A witch hunt and a genocide
- A literal war among the stars between two form of power
- The overthrow of a dictature
- The questionning of good and evil

I mean... :shocking:

You are just too stupid.
Touch grass, find real friends and eventually a partner because at this point you are pathetic. Back in your ignore prison.

I never thought he invented it either way. I just found the guys faces hilarious.
Any story can feel similar given enough contrived messaging or whatever.

Also, Holy shit, what land mine field did I walk into...

A quote from a what if that may be from a show or movie or not but I think it's true "Vader told her that the force was darkness, powerful light and powerful dark, and she sighed heavily telling him that his instructor had lead him astray "The force is not to be corrupted, not to be poisoned, it was the light of the galaxy, the bringer of life, through the force there is only the natural light, somrthing the jedi had forgotten, and something the sith had refused to believe"

It also mirrors a quote about spirituality, with two claims made, one claim that it is a fairy tale for those afraid of the dark, and one claim that the lack of it was a fairy tale for those afraid of the light,

Harry potter, star wars, we are talking entry level young adult shit and people are still obsessed with things like it.
I just do not understand, it's like if an One Piece fan said it was a mature and complicated piece of literature.
Both Harry Potter and Star Wars have plenty of characters with no motivations deeper than "do the right thing" or "Love thy other", while villains are just plain twirly mustache evil.
There is nothing bad in liking this stuff, it's entry level complexity narrative, but jesus christ read other books and watch other movies.

I think complex naratives can be good too, for me especially with past trauma I can relate too, but doing the right thing and love thy other is not hard, although simple, and reality is often simple but hard isn't it?,

I think complex things may just be a couple of simple things that build off of each other

You might wanna watch Andor mate, you missed a few things.

The problem is that he confuses simple narrative with simple stories and simple politics.

One Piece while simple (on the surface only) is actually not a simple story and do not have simple politics. But very complex ones. In fact, you could say that some of the politics of One Piece are much more complex and more advanced in term of political awereness than series like Game Of Thrones or Arcane. (and I love both those show)

Yeah but people just stop at harry potter or star wars instead of learning new things and discover how wide the horizon is
