I doubt it. When Hara established Kaine and Ten's relationship and when Kaine came to have romantic feelings for Riboku, I started to think that what was roughly going to eventually happen is that Kaine will become pregnant with Riboku's child, Riboku will die (whenever that happens), Zhao will crumble and Kaine will seek protection from Ten/Shin in order to raise her and Riboku's child.

Ten is a convenient scapegoat whenever the HSU is in an unfavorable position.
Going after Ri Boku was bad, but whose decision was it to actually go? It was A Kou who asked and Ten who relayed the message, but it was Shin who made the call.

Shin had reason to believe Ri Boku's horse would tire before his own, so he kept up the pursuit, but he nevertheless had ample time and opportunity even during the chase to change course. That he didn't cannot be blamed on Ten.

I don't think either Kyoukai or Karyoten even crack my top 5 favorite Hi Shin unit members, maybe not even top 10
I like Denyuu, En-San, Sosui, Suugen, Ryusen, that sword kid who just joined, Jin & Tan, etcβ¦honestly Ten might be my second favorite HSU member tho.
