Is Bleach Better than Kingdom?

I honestly think Ordo is just a meme. Hara making Ordo Kochou level would be an insult to Kochou lol. Not sure how we are supposed to take Yan seriously if this is all they have.

Hara better pull out some 6GG level Barbarian Warlords out of the mountains if he wants us to get excited about Yan when the time comes lol because Ordo ain’t it.

Idk, Rakuakan has been fine so far? We will see. I think he’s capable of giving Tou a solid fight but I also think it benefits Han more for a slow war of attrition so we will see what’s up.
The Xiongnu might currently have one person who is top tier and can challenge even the best Great Generals. Maybe the Baiyue people too.

Is it just me, or is Hara literally repeating Hango again?

no special tactics, no formations, no complex strategies

just all out random melee brawls with a lot of pep talk and morale boosts...

and the Qin want to finish it FAST too (Hango was barely a single day)

:shame:

please don't tell me all Kingdom arcs are going to be like this starting from now on... otherwise, this manga is REALLY washed

:risitasad:
Hara has become way too apathetic with writing these invasions.

There’s likely only going to be one battle in the entirety of this Han conquest which is just a head-to-head clash.

At this point it feels like Hara has reduced the story to the bare minimum, just giving us two GG caliber figures from Han, have them be defeated asap and move on to another Zhao battle.

I’m not saying this should be another 100-200 chapters type of arc but the way things are progressing feels so hasty, as if Hara just wants to get it over with.

Its almost like he realized that he spent TOO LONG on the pre-state conquering segment of the manga... that when we actually started getting into the REAL UNIFICATION part, he had to speed up it up, or else he ends up writing another 800+ chapters...

Let me rephrase this: we spent over 800 chapters and yet not a single state has been defeated yet.

Not every mangaka is a crackhead like Loda who is content spending half his lifespan writing the same trash over and over. Hara is around his age, but did not receive the same popularity, advertising and opportunities as the OP franchise did.

Kingdom started in 2006 and has been running for almost TWO DECADES by now. You can already see the cracks appear in the writing and the art. Just compare recent arcs like Hango or Gian to old ones like Bayou and Sanyou and the difference is honestly like night and day.

Its sad to see, but it looks like we'll be slugging through horribly put-together arcs from now on, where there is no more passion put into the writing, so we get lame random melee duels here and there with no clever thought behind them, until Hara can fill his checklist of "yep, this state is done, now next one..."

Note that Unification isn't even the end either, he wants to keep the story going AFTER that. Maybe the current pacing is just pure desperation bcs it'd prob take decades to get to the point in history he wants to reach even if he rushes through everything

I've BEEN saying Kingdom is in decline for years at this point. It's not been what it was since Shukai. The battles just haven't been very good at all.

with only 10 riders?

and completely abandoning the battlefield that dictates the future of Qin?
It's complete lunacy.

Think whatever it is Tou is doing gotta be related to the message he wanted to deliver to the Han princess a while ago

we still don't know what was that about
I think Princess Nei will only be relevant after the battle.

What if Ouki hadn't died?:steef:
Shin's development would've been considerably different.

Hara had an interview a while back during Shukai and spoke regarding future events past unification. In particular, he discussed about how many volumes it would take him to get to them, and that he would discuss it with his team after the current battle (Shukai) ended.

I believe he had that discussion and they've been flying through previously planned material and ticking boxes since.
