Kansaro says that the general has shown his pride as a commander of Qin but he should surrender now. The Qin general tells him to not look down on him and that Qin will devour Zhao. He charges towards Kansaro and is taken down in one swing. Kansaro's soldier says nice job and that their job on this side is finished. Kansaro wonders how Jiaga is doing. Jiaga, after taking down the original group he clashed with began taking out the remaining Qin rear army. The rear army sees people fly high into the air and receive the report that the General in charge was taken out.The rear army is having a hard time deciding what to do because some want to regroup due to unknown enemy numbers while others want to charge and take out the ones in front of them. Because they're all from different cities there isn't a general who can decide what the whole army in the rear should do. As they argue about what to do more enemies appear above them on the cliffs. Although some want to fight the majority decides to retreat in the rear. In reality the Zhao seen above were just a few rows of soldiers but from below they didn't know how many were behind them.
Kansaro receives a report saying after Jiaga attacked the rear the Qin rear army has begun to retreat. Kansaro says all that remains are those at the front. The Qin general gets news that after their head general was slain the entire rear army retreated. The Qin wonders why they retreated with so many in number and tries to figure out what they should do. The general says that since they still have 50,000 so they will march forward with the number they have right now because two of the great six are waiting for them ahead. They march forward while making sure the Zhao aren't chasing them from behind. The narration says that the Zhao took out about 40,000 Qin soldiers, 50,000 moved forward and the remaining retreated as far back as the city they began marching from.
The generals of the southern army are having a meeting and although they're thankful for they came the number is not enough. 50,000 isn't a small number but compared to the 200,000 they were expecting it felt very lacking. Heki says that it's a problem because they split off from the Ousen army because of this. The general from the north says they have no excuse. Mouten says they didn't come for nothing and that it's good they're here. Ten asks if the ones who retreated are going to come and the northern general says it wasn't easy gathering that many in the first place so it's not likely they'll be able to leave right away even if they came. Marron replies that they don't have time to wait for another few 10,000s to come because if they had that time they would've just waited for the Ousen army in the first place. Heki agrees and Ten says they're back to choosing between 2 options. One, they take the 50,000 and still attack Gian or, two, give up on the attack and withdraw.
Marron then asks what Ten thinks is the best choice since she's talking so much. Ten says she's not sure and that she wants to hear Mouten's opinion. She keeps thinking of how to attack with the 50,000 but can't think of a good way to win. 50,000 isn't bad enough they should throw the plan away immediately but it's still tough to work with that number for an attack on Gian. Marron says that she's thinking the only option is to gamble whether their attack will succeed or not. She says she didn't say that. Mouten says according to reports Gian has about 100,000 while they have about 140,000 with the northern army. Even if the Zhao predicted Gian would be the spot Qin would attack at most they would have 10-20,000 extra soldiers and that their situation right now isn't exactly unfavorable. His lieutenant says compared to Gyou this looks pretty good. Heki agrees. Mouten says if they go back to Atsuyo then the Zhao will prepare even more and it's easier to attack Gian now compared to later so he votes to attack to which his lieutenant agrees. Ten, Heki and the northern general all vote to continue the attack as well.
Marron notices Shin is being quiet and asks what he thinks. He thinks Shin will for sure say that they should move forward but figured he'd ask, but Shin says that he's not sure. Everyone is surprised. When asked what he means Shin says ever since Atsuyo he's been feeling off. Marron says he's always in a bad mood. Kanki says if he's getting scared he should go back with his army. Shin says he's not scared but simply that if they don't proceed with caution it'll be dangerous then asks if Kanki isn't feeling the same way. Marron mocks him for suggesting that but Kanki says he feels the same way to everyone's surprise. Kanki says it's because of that he's moving forward because it's only in those situations something is worth having. He then says it's always been that way and nothing has changed. Whatever is prepared he'll just get over it and take the head of the one in charge which means that he wins. He tells the rest "let's go already you newbies."
Riboku receives a report that after the northern army's attack the Qin only had 50,000 march forward to join Kanki's army. The total Qin number is 140,000 and are now moving towards Gian. Riboku says that they are leaving right away and that they will take out Kanki at Gian.

This gives Bayou vibes, where a 6GG falls despite Qin "winning" the battle. Back then Riboku said he orchestrated the plan with killing Ouki as the main objective, leaving Bayou and all the lands Zhao took during their invasion to be retaken by Qin. It seems that Gian will indeed fall but at the cost of Kanki somehow getting screwed over and dying/fleeing.
Riboku masterclass. He did a number on Qin with just a few thousand soldiers. This chapter proves that Kanki is instinctual general. Shin feeling the same as Kanki is something. His instincts are growing day by day. Kanki is too cocky this time. He may take a L this time.
Hopefully Riboku has a special plan to deal with Shin and Mouten. Most probably Shin and Mouten will be busy with Seika generals while Riboku and co clash with Kanki’s army. Can’t wait man

Agreed. So far in all battles except this latest one Zhou had the advantage of Man.
They already reduced the Qin army two times,, Zhou definitely not doing that still to not keep the number advantage.
Also like the idea Riboku planning this whole thing to take down one GG, ie Kanki but not win the battle.

Qin was always outnumbered...I don't think that such number difference matter . But if Riboku have hidden army of 100K then Kanki is fucked..
Or Riboku will play another game and remove Shin and Mouten from the picture...

So finally we get a number for the Kanki army.
120k people retreated to back Taigan. And they can't move out easily cause Ruomo attacking them again would be on their mind and without another general, they won't have someone who can convince them to move out again as they think the Ruomo army is way bigger than what they actually are

I actually don't think they will have a big hidden army, the hidden army is probably going to be the 20k army that they say Riboku could have.

As for Kanki, he has always been cocky. As he said himself, he has always gambled in these kinds of situations and come out on top. He has a reason for being cocky and that is "he is really fucking good at warfare"
And Kanki having a bad feeling gives more weight to Kanki having really good instincts. And makes his stats make more sense. He has the intelligence of 96 but has completely outplayed the other 96 int characters every time. Case in point, Genpou, and Kochou. And even has better feats than a character with 98 int. And Ousen saying he can't grasp Kanki's thinking like Riboku said about Duke although Duke was even more of a anommaly.
So far, Riboku has successfully stopped Ousen's 90k. And reduced the numbers from the Northern army to a quarter.
He is winning in the preliminary moves of the 390k vs 100k-120k + Atsuyo + 20-30k from Ruomo
And turned it into 140k vs 100k-120k. He has won big against the Qin GGs so far in long-distance warfare

If this guys Leave this in the hand of Shin Qin will don't lose, but let Kanki doed, he will lose, Maron will be a another who will join Shin from a dead GG, like a new Commander, because Shin will attack Zhao with 100k after Kanki loses, if i remember correctly and Maron is consistently having this funny moments with him.
Actually, SHK is below RBK in all 4 stats
And yeah I know SHK will be the last boss for Moubu. He and KouEn will be the last fight against Ousen and Moubu.
Or it'll be Shin, Moubu, and Ousen vs KouEn, SHK, and Karin if Hara decides to change things. And I don't think SHK will end up being better than Riboku or Ousen but he will definitely be very close to them.
