He likes seeing others hurt, but even in case of Monet, he didn't have to move a finger to do it himself. His strings, actions and business are a symbolic way of showing that Doffy is a manipulative character. He rarely does stuff himself, he doesn't dirty his fab royal hands etc.

It's not as black and white as you see it, Viola as a woman had a lot of mixed feelings, she got attached despite being forced to be part of the Doffy family. She wanted to kill him to make it right, not just because of her family/country but also because they got very personal. That's why she also has a pet name for him.

it’s all oda’s fault tbh he should have been more detailed there were no indications that they had a relationship other than her saying doffy

luffy:some folk say he’s asexual but he is definitely isn’t it’s just being the pirate king is the priority

luffy is nami bff their relationship is strong but it’s not romantic luffy relationship with vivi,shirohashi, and rebecca is just friendship boa and luffy is one sided and luffy made it clear so none stand out however there’s still one last girl and that is margerte she and luffy seemed to have a genuine connection and i wouldn’t be surprised if they end up eos

sanji :he is nami is pretty clear that they have a thing for each other and if anything wci and made it clear pudding is nice but is one sided nami is the only girl who sanji treats differently than others

zoro: persona is taken by mihawk and hyori is too 1 dimensional of a character so tashigi is the most obvious and logical choice however it will be kinda weird having your wife look the same as your dead childhood rival

robin and franky they are always close to each other and enjoy each others company and the latest chapters it was made clear
