Why do people need to “integrate”

Why can’t people be who they are and everyone just coexist?
Because it's called respect. If I moved to Korea (my wife is half-Korean), I would learn the language (tbh, I'm already learning as it's a distinct possibility due to her inheritance) and integrate. It's being respectful of the land that accepted you in and gave you opportunities your homeland couldn't/didn't. Is that hard to understand? Maybe it's because of my immigrant grandfather that I feel this way, because he installed such values into me at a young age.

As long as you don't commit any crimes you're good. Speak the language you want, those are personal decisions.

Like deadass there are a ton of people on my state who’re immigrants from Latin America that don’t speak English. I honestly don’t give a fuck. It doesn’t harm me.

I think they should speak English, but that’s the government’s fault for not properly funding education. There’s nothing wrong with them in particular.
The best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in it.Its their fault too for not integrating.

Didn’t you say you are part south Asian? Dude I promise you that even if you learn the language, there are going to be assholes in Korea who will say the exact same things about you that you are saying about immigrants to Britain.

Pipe dream
Some cultures don't go well together and they don't have to be forced to. Would all these people leave their homes if they could support themselves and their families at home?! Most people wouldn't go on arduous journeys across deserts and jungles for the slight chance to get a better life in a 'first world' country

I am part Indian. And I think that is looking down on people. People ascribe 'racism' to many, but I have rarely met someone who was racist against someone who actually integrates and respects the culture they're in. Racism is born from a lack of understanding and integrating will create that understanding. I'm not afraid.

If they want to speak whatever language they want at home that's up to them. I still speak Spanish with my sister and parents. That's part of my culture and my kids will learn Spanish as well and speak it at home.
At home it's fine, bro. It's outside. We have people in the UK who cannot speak English and we now require GP practices to have Urdu speakers in poorer communities because they REFUSE to learn the language.

Illegal immigrants can be all sorts of people.i think figuring out who is who before letting them in is just common sense,no?You want criminals to just have a pass to migrate anywhere they want?that is not how things work.
Why are countries that are basically founded on illegal immigration of criminals among those with the strictest immigration control?
