this is the digital era fam so making videos is a better and faster option in my opinion
I know, but there are already plenty of videos about political subject from people who are far better placed than me to talk (scientists, trans people, political personalities etc.). I think the best thing to do will be to share those already existing videos to avoid scattering the attention of the audience.

As for me, short videos are not my speciality. Mine is storytelling, at least, that's the only thing I think I can do. So I will use stories as a way to try open people's eyes about the world and make a difference. If it works good, if it doesn't, at least I tried.

Talking about sharing politic and humanity themed videos, here is the latest gem from Pop Culture detective:

there are many anime youtubers but my channel is still growing

innocent people are innocent people regardless
It was a tragedy that those people died and individually, those people didn’t personally deserve to be punished for the crimes of their country

But I do think there are moral laws in the universe, call it God, call it Karma, that affect all people.

When a nation oppresses people like this, there are inevitable negative consequences to it. American Slavery led to the civil war, the Nazis’ evil resulted in the destruction of Germany in WWII, the evils of unrestricted capitalism led to the communist revolutions in Russia and elsewhere.

While on an individual level I don’t think anyone deserved to be harmed, I do believe there is a level of collective karma that nations have.

And I think the key to preventing more death in the conflict is to recognize that fact.

just look at the casualties on this. 200 on the Palestinian side, maybe one on the Israeli side.

The state of Israel cannot do things like this and then expect the Palestinians not to engage in terrorism.

I'm at a loss over the current Life Analytics:
400+ Palestinian Civilians are equal to one Hamas officer
~10000 Palestinians have been killed so far in total, compared to ~1400 Israelis

So 1 Israeli life is worth 10 Palestinians, but only 0.04 of a Hamas officer?

Anyone with a PhD in Genocide that could help me here?
- We have leaked Israeli documents revealing the ethnic cleansing plans. - The targeting of civilians is deliberate. They are not merely collateral damage. - US Senators have access to sophisticated intelligence. - There is a paper trail. - They will be held to account.

They just want Palestinians to move out of Gaza.

There has been constant bombing on buildings near Al Shifa hospital. It is to induce fear and get them to move out ASAP.

its not even terrorism. its fighting back. when one country only bombs hospitals, schools, foreign doctors and journalists, goes out of their way to target children and women, they don't get to be the civilized ones. hamas does more to restrict their aim to military targets than israel does. it seems obvious that israel are the terrorists and hamas are the ones fighting for civilization.

it would be very easy to take the moral stand and be the ones showing the world how to act right now. but they're just showing the world how savage and bloodthirsty they are instead, they're proud of killing children.

All I care to contribute to this conversation is that, contrary to what some of my militantly conservative family members think, I know my grandparents who survived the Holocaust and lived long enough for me to hear firsthand the horrors they experienced would be perpetually spinning in their graves if they knew what Israel is doing to Palestine, and I believe there’s really no atoning for the compounding sins being committed by Israeli and American politicians alike:halt:

I'm glad you're speaking out on it.

I feel like everyone in my jewish friend group is part of the whole "Am Yisrael Chai" thing, where we all just support the state out of tribalism without actually thinking critically about what Israel's actually doing.

Honestly the only real place where I express my feelings on this matter is here and on this ultra leftist jewish subreddit.

Believe me, virtually every Jew I know who has heard my dissenting views is keeping a healthy distance from me at the moment, but being ostracized doesn’t make me more inclined to start cheering on the same kind of genocidal, dehumanizing tactics that so many regimes have historically used against us. What REALLY fucking irks me is how willing they all are to conflate Judaism with Zionism, we are not a God damn monolith and plenty of us aren’t going to embrace fascism just because it’s working in our favor this time :stop:

The oppressed can become the oppressors at the snap of a finger. That's one of the things that make us humans.

Especially pisses me off because they use the literal exact same logic as antisemites

Pro-Israel jews act like the global jewish people are inseparable from the state of Israel. Israel is the jewish state and therefore must be representative of all jews, according to them. No you can't criticize israel because any criticism of Israel is seen as antisemitism by these people. According to them jews = Israel.

But that's literally the same logic antisemites use when they attack jews because of shit happening in Israel. If Jews = Israel, then why can't we blame all jewish people whenever Israel commits a war crime?

Yet I see basically every mainstream jewish institution play into this narrative by pledging unquestioning support for the state of Israel. There are a few jewish orgs that are anti Israel, like Jewish Voice for Peace. But every time these orgs are brought up on r/jewish, everyone starts shitting on them as being antisemitic. Literally calling a jewish org antisemitic.

Israeli protesters have gathered outside Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's official residence in Jerusalem, calling on him to resign. Several of the demonstrators broke through barriers that had been erected near the prime minister's home, and scuffled with Israeli police.
