It isn't set at all. Hormonal changes can mess with your sexual pressure. Brain trauma is know to cause changes of both personality and sexual preference. There is a lot of things at play here.

Not all communists believe in an authoritarian form of governance. THey do ascribe the means of production to the state but a lot of them are full fledged belivers in democracy. You painting all of those who believe in that economic system with the same brush speaks volumes to your ignorance and a lack of a principled stance when it comes to democratic participation. I never used the words of "I'm morally superior to you" I just said you were a bigot and a fascist.

Bare in mind this also applies to the opposite side of the political spectrum. There's been plenty of fascists and nazis elected in small towns and state government. I hate them, but they do have a right to participate in the democratic process as american citizens.
