Science and politics should not mixed together , but science foundation always need funding which they vote bigger government because higher pay checks is good benefits to them .

I dont really know the statistics of private scientific institutions but the idea of politics and science.. Amalgamate into MILITARY REASEARCH
but cudos to US coz independent studies at massive scales are available.. I think studies should be funded and shouldn't be only congruent with political agendas coz then it serve political narratives.

We have a higher threshold for BS when it comes to political threads since strong emotions and disagreements are to be expected. Buzzwords, gaslighting and victim acts are all apart of the ride too when it comes to politics. Obviously things like bullying, attacking/insulting someone's religion, culture or race, death threats, blatant strong insults etc won't be tolerated.
