True morons are everywhere and obviously many trans folk are understanding and see stuff like such as radical too.
Its a moral issue at first glance but its much more to people who implement it, like why would a system allow children to be open to such sensitive material trying to meddling with their moral compass knowing that children are naive and mentally raw.. Is this how you certify ideologies like LGBTQ to be acceptable in the publics eye? Like no one stupid would be so efficiently swaying the media and hyperbole exposure to minorities.

I hate “religious” politicians and commentators.
They really disrespect the Bible. Like with the whole anti-lgbt thing, that’s based off one verse in Leviticus that refers specifically to male sodomy. There’s nothing in the Bible that says that homosexuality in of itself is wrong, just male on male anal sex.
Why? Probably because the Bible was created thousands of years ago at a time where medicine didn’t exist and anal sex has a higher chance of transmitting diseases.
But even this doesn’t actually apply to normal people. It really only applies to Jews. According to the Bible, jews are chosen to bear a burden for the rest of humanity. Hence they are held to a higher standard than average people. They have to follow dietary rules, keep the Shabbat, follow all the mitzvot, etc.
But it’s just so fucking reductive to boil all of this down to “lgbt is bad and evil”.

Because a lot of people follow it and if you lie to people and tell them that the bible is homophobic, you can make a lot of people support homophobia. Especially if they already have homophobic biases.
That's basically what the entire right wing industrial complex does. They try to manipulate people by taking advantage of their biases.
The laws in leviticus are only to be used in a very specific time and place. According to the prophets, the messiah will come and create a kingdom that will last forever, and it is only there where these laws would be applicable. But also, the messiah can change the laws I think, so nobody knows what the laws will be of the messianic age.
But until then, I believe that the laws that are supposed to be followed are just the 10 commandments(plus more, if you are jewish), one of which being that you shall not kill.
And the form of justice that the bible espouses fundamentally is based off equality. A life for a life, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. As such, outside of the messianic era, these punishments don't really make sense.
