Why it's not good to have world views based on it?
A theory in science is well tested. And, the best thing about science is as data and new observations keep on coming, all theories get subjected to repeated testing and updation if necessary.
So, having a view on something which stood test of time, countless experiments, observations and data is actually good.
Take Einstein theory of general relativity..till this day scientists put this theory to test and it always prevail

The reason I say it is not good to base your worldview on it is that worldviews based on the science of a specific period have a bad trackrecord, unless I am wrong about that, and I gave an example of the one that I am most familiar with, in political science, the idea that socirty moves through determined modes of production, which may be called historical materialism,
But about the theory of relativity, I heard that there are some problems in science because some theories in math and physics do not match up withe ach other or contradict each other but work well as a model to describe how what they are focused on works, and I heard that one of those theories that have some issues working with each other is the theory of relativity, I will fact check if that's true and you can look it up too if you want to,
For example, the statement, evolution is a factual phenomenon, may seem true now, but it may not hold up to future discoveries, at least not with the current understanding of evolution, or not the present idea of evolution,

That's why I said, theories which stood test of TIME - theories are updated if required with time if more evidences pile up.
Also, on theory of relativity - it doesn't go well with quantum mechanics.
However, that doesn't imply theory of relativity is wrong. It works perfectly well on bigger scale and we know it because of techs we used based on it and the countless tests it passed with most recent one being gravitational wave.
