My guy one of the purposes of the tariffs is to crash the market and force the federal reserve to lower interest rates. Lower rates+money printing will stimulate the economy and refinance the national debt at a cheaper price, which could lower inflation if things go right. Then Trump will ease up on the tariffs to further stimulate growth, appearing as an economic genius for the republican mid terms.

Everyone obviously loses money during a crash...it is the rich that heavily benefits from the recovery. The wealth gap is gonna extend even further.
