Seems like they might do a bit of sway now. But seeing a live genocide makes me understand how literally every single genocides happened in history. This one is very special though. Entire world refused to boycott or disarm the nazionists. Soooooo many shills and allies to Netanyahu.
It makes you wonder how many government officials should be trialed at the international court for this. Starting by Bibi and his government to a bunch of other western governments. Who runs those courts? And do they have real power? That is the question here. Laws only apply to those who can't get away with their actions.
International geopolitics is all about interests. NONE of those politicians actually feel shit about genocides. They'll express their deepest condolences towards their allies and turn away when it's other getting killed. Politicians are so full of shit and I assure you your own government would not bat an eye and personally kill you and your family if it somehow benefitted their business or/and propaganda interests.

I’ve always felt like international law was kinda bullshit.
Because the existence of an “international law” suggests there would be some sort of way to enforce said international law. But there isn’t so countries just do whatever they want.

I feel like the next 4 years will lead to the fall of European support for Israel.
Israel will cleanse Gaza and that will probably shatter any remaining goodwill that Europe has to the country. Especially since I do believe Muslims are a significant minority in quite a few European countries.
America will be different though. The rise of the far right in America has ruined America’s relationship with Europe and Canada. Trump is very pro Israel, persecuting anti Zionists and openly backing the ethnic cleansing of Gaza.

I’m so pissed off about the Medicaid cuts…I work at a retirement home and we have a bunch of people on state assistance, they’re gonna suffer mightily as a result. What am I supposed to do? Kick out a 90 year old hospice patient and toss them into the street? Tell them to get a job? This isn’t going to prevent fraud (which itself is negligible compared to all the people who genuinely need help), I hate how the cruelty remains the point for every American politician

And when they complain tell them to stop crying because the 95 year old hospice patient has it much worse, then show them videos about crypto scams investment and tell them they could be billionaires within 2 months if they really wanted it. Capitalism is a blessing and if those old coots don't get it it's their own fault.
That’s correct, but people of any age can be in a vulnerable financial position; we’re also licensed for Medicaid only, so we don’t take Medicare, which I also have a major problem with 
btw did you hear about the anti-Jewish shooting in DC? Was anyone in your community close to that couple? I think I know a guy who went to college with the woman that was killed. He said she was a really good person.
I hate how Israel creates so much antisemitism against Jews in the west via its own shitty actions, but like if you look at how the Israeli government responded to this, they never take responsibility for their own role in this. Instead they just used the tragedy for their own agenda.
This isn’t to say antisemitism only exists because of Israel. But their actions during the war seem to have only made things worse for everyone associated with them: Israelis, diaspora jews, and of course the Palestinians.
