I know conservatives who are horrified looking at all of this. You don't have to be left leaning to show genuine empathy for people. The fact that a lot of the people in this forum prioritize trolling and using dog whistles to promote hate and tribalism over showing genuine concern for what is happening is very telling.

This is a moment where you have to take a side, are you with the fascists'? or are you for human rights and democratic values?

Trump threatens the legal status of legal immigrants every single day. We've had multiple horror stories of people being kidnapped and held for days on end when they've been in this country legally for decades. Even though unlikely, I'm still scared because my parents weren't born in this country and I became a citizen after turning 18. Just the idea of being kicked out of a country where I have lived since I was a child is enough to send chills down my spine.

Idk what other proof people need here. surrounding a detention center with pythons and alligators is cartoonishly evil, anyone with a conscience can see that.
