Is the One Piece Jolly Roger really getting a serious threat for the States across the world ? I've seen it being mentioned in a couple of articles about different countries.

Soon waving this nerd flag will be seen as an act of terrorism :steef:
(already is, in certain countries :suresure:)

Yeah :D

This is logical, people tend to use culture as political symbols. I saw people who created Strawhat flag and sign for September 10th and 18th in France for ex.

One Piece has a revolutionnary aspect to it, it's highly political and it's multigenerational !

One Piece holds the perfect political symbols for the angered youth, the old and the next generation

To be honest it was already used even in France and has been for years. The difference would be how massively it's used.

Oda is a commie. It hasn't been a problem for now for him. And won't be for a while because it's only authoritarian states that got their revolutions with his jolly roger as symbol.

I actually don't think or remember any democracy that got a revolution to create a better democracy.

That's kind of the trap with democracies. You can't really rebel.

@Ravagerblade Tell me again about how leftists are dangerous, murderous psychopaths…any angry condemnations to make, or are we just doing the same dance as always??

@Zenos7 You’ve been on a real kick lately about being civil and considerate to people with different political opinions, any thoughts on this kind of rhetoric or do you wanna lecture me about name calling again??

For authors who wants their story to reach people and better the world, seeing flag used like this in the exact same way as they are in the story... the joy and plenitude that one can feel through that must be extraordinary.

Indeed. I was seeing it in protests back in the 2010' already.

He would be the old kind if that's the case and not really politicized. I think he likes the iconography more than the ideas itselfs. But I definitely believe that he wouldn't mind becoming a full far leftist if he had the choice.

Although I believe he would rather be an anarchist than a communist, looking at the way the strawhats are structured and the way each characters interact with the world

It's written in stars for Oda.

Not only his manga is going on for 28 years...with more than average popularity (picking pace with Elbaph), it's also getting linked with real world politics...

That's legacy being drawn unlike before...and, it's being done by GenZ - the future.

Having that said, there is only one thing Oda needs to do to cement it forever (rest will follow) - make BB the FV :optimistic:

"I have another objection; and that is, it is unjust that I should suffer such a penalty. Had I interfered in the manner which I admit, and which I admit has been fairly proved (for I admire the truthfulness and candor of the greater portion of the witnesses who have testified in this case)--had I so interfered in behalf of the rich, the powerful, the intelligent, the so-called great, or in behalf of any of their friends--either father, mother, brother, sister, wife, or children, or any of that class--and suffered and sacrificed what I have in this interference, it would have been all right; and every man in this court would have deemed it an act worthy of reward rather than punishment.

This court acknowledges, as I suppose, the validity of the law of God. I see a book kissed here which I suppose to be the Bible, or at least the New Testament. That teaches me that all things whatsoever I would that men should do to me, I should do even so to them. It teaches me, further, to "remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them." I endeavored to act up to that instruction. I say I am yet too young to understand that God is any respecter of persons. I believe that to have interfered as I have done--as I have always freely admitted I have done--in behalf of His despised poor was not wrong, but right. Now, if it is deemed necessary that I should forfeit my life for the furtherance of the ends of justice, and mingle my blood further with the blood of my children and with the blood of millions in this slave country whose rights are disregarded by wicked, cruel, and unjust enactments--I submit; so let it be done!
Let me say one word further."

That is,just like charlie kirks statement about joe biden for example, completely despicable and much worse than you lying about a random right winger on the internet, for sure. (Wouldnt consider that namecalling though?)

Remember Dennis Prager? The guy who started PragerU. I think that dude’s gonna die soon.

Apparently he had a really bad fall and became a quadriplegic not too long ago. He was on a ventilator and everything, tho he can at least speak now. Given how he is 77, he probably won’t last too much longer after something like this. At least that was the case with my grandparents.

Ngl I didn’t really like this guy, but it is kinda sad to see him so old and feeble. Especially since I watched him a lot growing up. Like he is still talking bullshit. But idk, it’s hard for me not to feel bad for a guy with a pipe coming from his neck.

FUCK these Nazi

I hope the guy came back home and had a good laugh with his family. How terrifying this can be, you say one bad word and there you go into concentration camp. Fucking Nazi kidnapping morons in the streets.

Fuck these Fascists. And Fuck any one who defend them.

I don't know and honestly I don't even care. He could have insulted them that the chase still wouldn't be legitimate.

People ask me why Acab ? This is why.

These son of fascists don't want peace, they want control. Their little authoritarian brain is completely high on violence and hate. Each one of their steps are wired with little dick energy and an overcompensation for a complete malfunctionning masculinity.

Fucking disgrace of humanity.
